OK.........just a hypothetical.........so on Thursday you set up an appointment for Saturday morning with a provider.  She screens you on TER and she agrees it will fit her schedule, and also agrees to the appointment/time/terms.  She tells you sometime on Thursday morning, that on Friday, she will PM you and confirm, with a general direction (cross streets).

So, here it is Friday at 2:45PM and you have not heard from her..........what do YOU think;

1)  is she going to keep your appointment?

2)  how long would you wait until you went looking for a replacement........if your availability was extremely limited?

3)  do you think it makes sense for hobbyists to have a back up plan in these cases?  Wouldn't this mean at the last minute an appointment with a provider may have to be cancelled?

We have read posts about no-shows..........but I do not think we have addressed any to this degree of specificity.
