Hi,

Has anyone eaten at Raku on Spring Mt lately ? I ate there last year and it was excellent !!

Good luck getting in.

Tried to make a reservation 2 times last week and they were sold out till midnight. Jeez, I guess word got around.  Homemade tofu is incredible.

It is amazing, yes you have to book WAY in advance but sometimes you can just drop by and they will fit you in. I recommend the tasting menu as the way to go but the best thing on the menu was the Steamed Foie Gras Egg Custard so make sure you add that on!

Oh and they sell their homemade soy sauce by the bottle, it is now the only soy sauce I will eat

By all means. A 10+

This forum is somewhat diversified. A good resource for a variety of subjects. Do a search on food and you will find some good suggestions.

an okay for me. There were a couple of interesting dishes and the food was good but nothing outstanding that I can recall.

I have had some great meals at Raku but now that I have been a bunch of time, they do not change the menu enough for me to be excited. That said, I definitely recommend it. Perhaps do it Omakase style. You will enjoy it! Spring Mt Road has some great restaurants. In a more casual register, try Hichiza, Chada Thai and in the same mall than Raku, you will find Kabuto for some great traditional sushi.

places (Ichiza and Kabuto) you mentioned. I have a long list of food places I want to try in Vegas. I typically plan my visits around foods I want to try and providers. My last trip was 8 days long and I met with 4 different providers (one every other day) and I tried two new food places each day. I had a great time eating there ;-P and the food was good too.
