My birthday is coming up in a few weeks and was thinking about flying down to Vegas to see John Fogerty perform at the Wynn. I'm looking for some company to join me for the show and for some quality time after. I'd really prefer to go with someone who is familiar with CCR/Fogerty, would actually be excited to go, and has good concert energy.

I would love to join you on your special day and go to the concert with you darling. Together we can sing each and every song out loud and proud !    There are so many songs that I adore that I can't pick my favOrite

The song, Have you seen the rain ..gets me every time.  
The song is about Fogerty’s brother and his return from Vietnam. He was spit on at the airport by anti-war protesters and John asked him if that upset him...his brother said “no, these people have never seen the rain.” Meaning that they weren’t there and they couldn’t possibly understand what he and his buddies went through. They shouldn’t judge him unless they had seen what he had.
It’s also been suggested that the lyrics are referencing the Vietnam War, with the “rain” being a metaphor for Napalm bombs falling from the sky.
