Last time I was there an active key card was needed in elevator to get to floor. But it's an easy meet. I just sit in a chair near elevator and follow my friend up

yes you will need a key card because the security at the elevator will ask to see it . I typically valet and have my client pass it to me while im in the car or follow behind them just depends on how discreet they want to be. luckily with Vdara its not a casino so its a lot more chill than other places .

...far away enough from the elevator bank to wait discreetly. Or there's a nearby bar/lounge.
