I have done quite a few pool dates in a cabana but the curtain was always open.
I did see some people smoking.

They didn't check on us once we closed the bill for the drinks. I'm sure if you tipped the waitress off you could get more private time. It also depends on the vibes of whoever is helping you. If they seem up tight you may not be able to get away with much.

The real naughty action takes place in your room after time at the pool. Almost all pools have a no curtains closed policy due to people having se, or doing drugs and the places getting in trouble.

So we have me and a friend or two of mind join for social cabana chill time and then we go back to room.

Definitely no naughty business in the cabanas, and the wait staff are usually very attentive, which means not a lot of privacy.

Smoking is fine though and ashtrays are provided.

Still a great time and the anticipation builds making the after-cabana time in the room that much more hot!
