Hobbying and gambling

This being a town where a lot of money changes hands quickly, I was wondering:
Ladies, have you ever had a guy cancel on you because he lost his hobby money at the casino?  Or conversely, do you ever get unexpected late calls from someone who has gotten lucky?
Gents- have you ever cancelled after a loss or indulged in extra after a big win?

I might indulge if I have the fantastic night at the tables...  but... I've always been had the discipline to separate hobby and gambling funds....

I might give up the gambling for some extra hobby time, but I would never give up the hobby for some extra gambling...

Just me and I may be different than most..

I always bury the "Gift" in my safe and have never canceled because I lost it on the tables.I also hide a few $$$'s just incase we want to gamble afterwards. Now I've been with a friend who hit it big one night and he covered all the guys "Entertainment" for that night. But because I had plans set, he wasn't giving away any rainchecks...party pooper...lol..Dam there's alot of good games tonight!!! GO LSU!

visit to Vegas, and confirming dates with providers, I always keep my hobby and gambling $$$ seperate. I never use hobby $$$ for gambling, I also don't gamble as much as I did before hobbying, but I may use gambling winnings for my next hobbying trip to Vegas. Self Control is not easy, but can be the difference between having a "good" time or "GREAT!!!" time in Vegas.

My 3 prioroties are:
1. Hobbying
2. Finding New Restaurants to try
3. Gambling

when I used to work for an agency those calls happened all of the time.A guy calls for a lady and goes down and gambles and loses all of his money. Then he cancels.
But on the other hand we used to get tons of calls from guys who got lucky very late night used to be the most busy time.

...but yes, I've witnessed both.

Vegas is a complex, beautiful playground!

I think win or lose with gambling, if a fellow spent time with you he'd be LUCKY indeed.

I have been lucky not to have someone cancel due to losing.

Last time I was in Vegas I had 6 envelopes already separated out with money in them for 3 hobby sessions and 3 gambling sessions days in advance  One provider had to cancel so I took that money and had a fourth gambling session.  Would have much rather found a backup provider though.

Are the most insane excuses that people give!

Do you know how many people get good poisoning at midnight from a dinner at 9pm?

It's laughable when people think of these excuses.. I always thought my teacher believed me when I said my dog are my homework. I didn't even have a dog!

I wonder why that happens?

Always make sure to have it set aside. Definitely not cool to cancel like that.
