With the overcrowding in the local jails, I doubt anyone will be held for more than a day on solicitation alone (I've heard of being held for other offenses like drug/unlicensed gun possession/distribution).
Vice is more interested in nailing pimps than hos. It's the difference between a felony and a misdemeanor.
As for CL, I think a lot of vice departments across the country are paying more attention to the Internet version of a streetwalker. Woe to those that aren't careful.
My friend is a Metro Vice officer and he told me that due to all the activity in the news and online about the ads on Craigslist, they are coming down on the "providers" and setting up stings. They are posing as "johns" and going to incall locations and having girls come to hotels for outcalls and busting them on the spot. He said there is a statute that allows for holding the "providers" for up to 30 days without bond so you will get arrested and taken off the streets for some time. Also, they DO NOT have to tell you they are police if you ask, they are allow to say they are not cops because they are now considered undercover officers, he told me that the law in which they had to identify themselves as police officers is about 20 years out dated.
You have been warned, I know of 2 girls that have been busted already and they are still in jail now, perhaps that's why you don't see them listing anymore. Metro is really going after all the pimps that have come here from Arizona and they are going to charge them with racketeering, which is a class 1 felony and carries a penalty of a minimum of 5 years in prison.
It happens all the time. I think they now have 30 something vice officers dedicated to bar girls, CL and Eros girls and anyone else that comes to their attention.
As most know, many of the hotels actually work with vice and supply rooms to use. Contrary to popular belief, you most likely will not be held for longer than 10 to 20 hours if you do not have any major priors or drug related charges. Most of the girls (non TER of course) who get busted have been there many times before and the cops actually get to know them. If you are unfortunate enough to get busted (and it is not fun) Las Vegas is definitely the place to do it as most charges get dropped or reduced drastically. They just want their money!

There is a new statute that allows for holding someone for 30 days without bond for a MISDEMEANOR ? How unprecedented! Prove it by telling us the statute number. All statutes are public knowledge…unless of course homeland security has horned in on the morals division and deemed solicitation a terrorist activity.
Yeah, that would be a major violation of civil rights in my opinion, so I do not believe it. But with the Bushites running things, rights are taking a back seat to far right "morality." So who knows what will happen next.
