try waxing.  First couple of times may be a bit uncomfortable, but after a while.............  Plus the ladies will appreciate it.

While we hobbyists may be the clients, respect both ways should be second nature.  I show up at all my appointments waxed and manicured/pedicured (in the absolute most masculine manner).

I thought I'd reach out to some of ladies here because all the ones I have met have always been super smooth. I have an issue with ingrown hairs every time I manscape. I always seem to get big red bumps that look like a zit. They hurt and look horrible. I rather not stop trimming that area so  any suggestions on a product that would prevent this?

I agree that's why I keep things trimmed and clean. I wax other areas but haven't ventured that low.

I went to school for this and offer this on my website :)!  
Waxing would be best to prevent the ingrown hairs. I suggest staying away from hot wax and try using the pre packaged strips if you are going to do it yourself.
