i was in bar and this young yahoo comes up to me and starts lamenting about girls in bar not talking to him AFTER he tells them he is a local. I tell him to get away from me, but he keeps going on and on . I tell him well , don't tell them you are local. He goes on and on. Then two hot chicks walk by and they look at him and say really loud "those two are locals" and walk away. Now I am a LOCAL? and no one is going to talk to me. Thanks yahoo, now you know why he's a yahoo. so what is up with that local thing any way ? was anthony boredain correct in his assessment in locals on recent show on vegas
my guess would be that they don't want to take a chance of a local becoming a stalker type of person. im sure there are plenty of guys out there who honestly believe that the girl was so into them that a real life serious relationship is possible and not strictly a business transaction which it was. they don't need one of these guys spotting them out around town when shopping, running errands or out with friends and family.next thing you know that same crazy dude is following them around and always coincidentally running in to them here and there and everywhere in between.
Most locals know the scams & upselling of Las Vegas! The hustlers know this very well, but the honest & considerate people treat the locals very good !!!!!
I love to see local gents too bad I don't get to see many locals as I do not offer incall. I don't know why you would get a negative response from the ladies if you mentioned you are a local. Unless they were visiting and were just here to work the casinos then they may not like locals since they know more than likely a local is not going to fall for those games.
