He met a girl at the casino bar - working girl Went to room 4am wasted She or someone beat him with an iron (yes, an IRON) and he wasn't discovered until mid morning. He was robbed of everything and has 4 staples in his head The details are vague but he met her at the bar and somehow he was beaten then robbed and left to bleed after getting to the room. He lost a lot of blood and I was informed the room was covered in it as well. PLEASE do not take ANY chances! Don't let being horny make you stupid!
Poor guy, I do hope he recovers quickly and I hope Karma will get those girls and whoever else was involved !

Almost the definition of "urban legend'. Your link is too coincidental. I'd say that story is passed on in this circle in pretty regular fashion. It doesn't take away from the basic warning, but I doubt it's 'common'
Met the group of guys several times over the weekend. The last time was to find out one of their group had just been to the hospital and the story unfolded.
That article may seem similar perhaps because they might be the same assailant(s)? Or perhaps not. I just know these guys wouldn't have much reason to give me a war story just because we chatted in passing a few times.
And I would certainly say an iron would be my weapon of choice in a hotel room: heavy, big and has a cord to swing it with. Not much heavy stuff in hotel rooms that aren't bolted down - so my guess is that an iron is a common weapon in crimes like these, but hey, I could be wrong

So you meet this group of guys. Over the course of a weekend. I'm not sure what that means really except to say that it sounds like you got friendly enough for them to share a fairly bizarre and personal story with you.
Did they know you offered what they were looking for? Not that the timing was right, but maybe if they had known your deal the CG thing would have been a non factor. "I'm horny, let's text Goldie, see if she's available or has friends". You already met them...you sound like you were friendly with them....ergo, liked them, seems like a decent starting point for some hands on marketing. No? If not, wondering why they'd be so chummy with you as to tell you that story.
Before I found TER, I had four experiences with casino girls. I've posted it before, but here's a quick recap. First girl, $500, 15 minutes, had sex, pressured me for another $100 (which she got). I consider myself lucky I didn't end up in the hospital or morgue.

I guess it all goes back to your comfort zone and being careful - Even though the start of this post sounds like urban legend - there is obviously value in caution... I know that on paper I should not do what I did - but felt ok a couple if times - not so much the others...
So while good advice - the story sounds questionable. Just my 2 cents.
