Has anyone ever started their date (public time)  at one of the spas that has co-gender areas?  An hour to relax and get to know each other there and then we head out on a date together.... Is it awkward to do this...or relaxing? I am not a drinker so grabbing a drink at the bar is not in my comfort zone.

That is a fabulous way to start a date and it is not awkward at all.  

Thank you for sharing that , ending that way or adding that in to a multi jour date is very common.  People request the spa all the time and it's so nice.  

I have done a date like this in the past where it was multi-hour and we started at the spa.
Very relaxing enjoying the spa amenities and finishing with a couples massage and then continuing on with the date.I don't think this awkward at all a great way to get to know one another.
Not everyone drinks so this a great alternative plus the spa is always a good relaxer

Canyon Ranch Spa has some couples packages. I tried one few years ago where you are in a special room applying different clay and mud on each other while nude and a rain type shower comes on through out the hour as you keep applying the different minerals on each other..... Highly recommend!!!!!! Fun!!!

This is what my date and I did use the clay mud on each other so damn sensual.I think it is called the Razul(I might be spelling that wrong)
I look at mud differently now.lol

i personally go to red rock because they give locals 30% off but they are not co-ed. So what are the Co-Ed spas in Vegas ?

Canyon Ranch has coed areas.
Aria has several coed areas (stone beds, plunge pool, salt room, and lounge.)
And Mandarin has a lounge that is coed.

In the world , it's beautiful.

The aria has an amazing set of suites where you have your own private room before and after your spa treatments! You get a whole hour after your services of private time in the room to get as wild as you'd like! Pic below is from one of my times in the suite I mentioned...

I see from the responses from all the ladies that they appreciate the idea also.
I planned initially to arrive to Vegas on January 2015 with a few friends but after reviewing TER for the last weeks (after becoming VIP) and reading the wonderful reviews I'm booking an earlier vacation on September to meet the Beautiful ladies of Vegas.
I recommend using Trip Adviser in order to find the best spa in Vegas.

Book a paint party at the Well Spa 4th floor at the Platinum What better way to get acquainted then rubbing each other down with mud and other things You start off in the sauna then the shower then back in the sauna to try another rub. the first hour is totally private, and then two professional misuses come in to give you both a therapeutic massage.
