Maybe if enough reputable members sent letters to TER on your behalf, the powers that be would believe the truth and reinstate your profile! So if that could help, just let us know! I agree that that would be preferable to starting over with a new name, but if you decide to do that, I doubt if it would take too long for you to be as well respected here as you ever were. If you do that, though, I would suggest that you don't make it too public. Just have your friends spread the word through back channels. You might need a new IP address too.
Hey Guys! As most of my close friends already know I have been having problems with my ex s/o and his attempts to really fuc* with me (or read my post yesterday), Now I am reaching out for help and advice! I am wondering whether to change my name and start over again (even though I had 3 pages of great reviews.....Grrrr) or Fight for my what's mine. If I come up with a new name and change my site I will be offering reduced rates to everyone that has previously reviewed me and willing to see and review me again. Do what you can to get your reviews back up. A reputation could take a long time to earn, and 3 pages of good reviews shouldn't just be lost in the memory hole.

I am sorry to hear of your situation and hope it turn in your favor soon. Without knowing all the details of the situation I can only offer a small piece of advice. Contact TER and ask to get your reviews reposted. Don’t give up unless you feel it is in your best interest to move on. A good reputation is worth a lot in this business, as it is in any business.
On the flip side if you would decide to change your name I think a lot of gentlemen would be willing to see you again. Personally I would be willing to see you inder any name.

-- in addition, suggest either do one or none of couple (opps I listed more than a couple, a few options now) of things: (a) patch it up with ex or (b) set him up-somehow/someway with another SO so he can forget about you (c) change your passwords frequently , keep a record (d) get a restraining order - OUCH ! -- (d) talk to Tony Soprano--opps, I didn't say that (but i did know someone who once gave that as the first suggestion every time something of this nature came up). It's hard to provide info not knowing the extent of "really f*ck you up. But that's not right and it's bad karma for someone to do that.
