I had a nice talk with Gina on the phone yesterday! It has been over a month now since Gina went to Florida! She is still getting better and better all the time! She is not 100% yet, but she is very close to being self sufficient! She can't wait to get back to working, so it wouldn't surprise me to see an ad from her on the Florida TER board soon!

Gina still needs a second operation on her left knee, probably in February. She intends to have that done at Loma Linda, so the same surgeon who did the first one can do it. I can't say this for sure, but I think that after a short recovery period from that, she will return to Las Vegas instead of Florida.

The reason I probably won't post any more updates is that Gina has a computer now, and I think she will have internet access soon, so she can post on this board herself pretty soon!

Gina and Smarty1101 and I all want to thank everyone who contributed to the "Gina benrfit fund"! That became a very big success! Gina has told me she doesn't know what she would have done without it! It was used mostly to pay off all of her accumulated debts. The three of us decided to close that account today, so that has been done, and Gina will receive the ending balance, which wasn't a lot. Gina says that if anyone still wants to contribute, it can be done by contacting her. Again, Smarty and I, and especially Gina, want to thank all of you for your support for her. I can't tell you what a wonderful community I think this is, or how proud I am to be a member of it!
