Hi Chester;

I like the hotel because it has one of the smallest casinos in town, so no 2 mile stroll though the slots to get to the elevators.

They have key card readers in the elevators, so you really have to meet your date in the Starbucks. However I had a great 3 hrs with Veronica and she just walked into an elevator with other guests & asked them to push the button for my floor.

You do not have to show a card, as you do at many other hotels in LV.

If you get the chance, try Veronica, she will rock your world.

Going to be back in town in a month or so... and was wondering if anyone has stayed at the Westin and specifically how security is if one has visitors... Tks for any info

I was just out there a couple weeks ago. Hotel is not bad. I had a visitor, and there was no problem. But, I did meet her at the entrance.  There were no guards checking keys at the elevator. But you do need a key to use the elevators.

Back in January I spent a night there.  (Yes, I'm a Las Vegas local, but I was at a party there and after copious amounts of adult beverages I decided to get a room and stay the night.)  At that time there was no security at the elevators, anyone could go right up to the rooms.

we were there injuly to see david brenner and the place was dead more help than patrons.

I stayed there a couple of months ago.  You need your rroom key to use the elevators, so if you have "visitors", you have to go downstairs to get them.

I have been there a couple of times to see clients and had no problem at all... it actually looks alot nicer then it used to when it was the Maxim.. Hope you enjoy your stay. :)
