I just need to blow off some steam and ask why aren't there more updated pix on many of the provider's web sites?? I've had dates with several providers in the western US, but find that some providers have the same pictures on their web sites they had five years ago when I first discovered their sites. But on the other end of the spectrum, some providers are very good at updating their pix. I know that January updates her pix, Cindy Spice updates her pix (need more nude shots) and LJ is always updating her sight. Maybe it's because they have nothing to hide. I've also seen some providers that haven't put any recent shots up on their sites when I saw them a few months ago like Brie and Logan. Updated pix are very helpful to us hobbyists, a BIG thanks to those of you who are updating your sites!!!
But I notice you only have one review posted. You say that you've seen two other girls who had outdated photos on their sites. You should have reviewed them and stated that their pictures were not up to date. This is important information for a review.
And remember, photos don't have to be old to be "less than accurate." The angle of the shot, make-up, lighting, can all affect how someone looks in a photo. (I won't even mention modern digital editing techniques.)
Digital editing is soooo easy today, but a good photographer doesn't hurt either. There's nothing worse than opening the door and getting a surprise. Actually I have posted more than one review, I just don't post many of them. Over a year ago I learned a lesson, if certain things are mentioned in a review and a provider disagrees, the poor moderator is stuck in the middle and has to decide who is telling the truth. Hence some of my earlier reviews weren't posted then. It used to happen alot more at TBD, but eventually it backfires on the provider when they dispute "honest" reviews.
