Reading that story was very, very sad. I have been reading stories like that for years. Personally, I rarely see anyone in the bars I frequent who look under 21, never mind under 18.
While sad and disturbing, I wouldn't exactly call that another reason not to frequent the bar gals.
I just talked to a provider in my area who is my age and mentioned in conversation how comfortable I am with providers close to my age and that I wouldn't even consider anyone, bar or not bar, who was under 25, never mind under 18.

OK, I'll "consider" how many of the ladies that you mentioned are "pimped out". The problem is, I don't have any freaking idea, and I don't think you do either.

I chronicled on the general board, how a Tampa escort that I used to see, was having her cash burned through by her BF. But he wasn't sending her out to hotels to peddle ass, or pushing her in front of moving cars, he was just sitting on his ass at home, and she was tolerating it. So does that make him a pimp?

We've all seen the movie image of Harvey Keitel in Taxi Driver, pimping out Jodie Foster's character. And I've seen an episode of COPS, where Vegas LE arrested this girl, and her pimp was down the street, hanging around to see what would happen. The girl was terrified, claiming that her pimp would beat her with a clothes hangar if she didn't do what he wanted. The Vegas cops talked sense to this frightened child, and explained what options she had available to her.

I also saw a documentary piece on a NV brothel. Very normal couple, he was a free lance computer programmer who worked at home, and she worked at a brothel. They had a young daughter. He was perfectly OK with her work, even got off on her telling him stories about her clients, and they seemed to be making it work. Is this guy a pimp?

I know a number of indies in Vegas and in other places, and I know something about their personal lives in some cases. Every one of those gals is calling their own shots by and large. Sure, a few have had abusive relationships, but so have a number of other women in the US.

I'm not saying that there aren't indies who haven't been pimped out, but until we have a true definition of the word, it's tough to say who has and hasn't been "pimped"

Yes some brothel girls have pimps . Just because they work in a brothel doesn't mean they don't have a pimp . Same for escort agency girls . In fact most escort agency girls have pimps .
Working for an agency doesn't mean you don't have a pimp .One has nothing to do with another , unlike most guys think .........but she doesn't need a pimp , she works for an agency.


The modern day pimp isn't like the old days you see in movies , he used to set her up with "tricks" and would be there to protect her . The modern day pimp is just there to collect the money and spend it .......but like I said more details about all that and the different types  of pimping you'll just have to wait to read in my book .
