I was at one of the new upscale hotels this past summer and noticed something that I'm hoping someone on this board can clarify. A group of us were hanging out at the "topless" end of the pool and I had my eyes on this very beautiful lady suntanning poolside. At one point she went into the pool for a dip and was very obvious in floating next to a group of guys, on her back, so her very nice assets were in full view to all. She started to chat the guys up and after a half hour or so excused herself and went over to a cabana type room and was immediately on the phone. Unfortunately, I wasn't close enough to the group she was talking with to hear what was going on, and it would not have been appropriate for me to talk with her direct due to the group I was with. My guess was that she was a provider doing a little physical advertising and setting up her evening. The thing that gets me was that it was so blatant - especially at the hotel pool in full view. Question is - am I correct and do the hotels condone the activity - or am I just off line with this. Be inetersted to know so I could take advantage of the situation next time. SThanks - and sorry if this is a stupid question.

Hey Allgood:

The Hobby is still illegal in Clarke County. But, that said, the new sheriff told the community and the hotels he was not going to police this activity in the hotels. The hotels themselves would have to manage their guest populations and the hotel is to set its own standards.

Most strip hotels have a very easy going way ... as long as no one gets offended, hurt or robbed or there trouble in the rooms.  Providers will be in every bar after 9PM till 2 AM. They'll be  around pools, in the slot areas close to show bars.  As long as there is no "out in the open" solicitation the hotel security will be turning the other cheek. Security will typically be  content to film your ass hitting on her at the bar, walking the lady to the elevator, in the elevator, walking to the room and her leaving the room to the elevator and to her car.  Outside your room, you will be on camera and taped every minute your there.

Most strip hotels could care less if you fu*k your ass off as long as you don't leave the hotel with your money and you have a good time.  Don't call them because you caught the clap or you think something was taken from your room unless it is a BIG deal.

No one wants to deal with it unless its a problem.

Now, the cost of a date in Vegas from a girl working a bar is about twice what a pre arranged date with the same girl might be off TER.  Book early get a great date and it will cost less with less anxiety.

Be a gentleman in public places, insist she be a lady, a very hot lady but not too brazen and you'll not get a hassel . YMMV

But, I must say for a non-local this is the worst piece of hobbying advise I have seen given to a fellow hobbyist in quite some time.

I thought it was written by either the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce or Steve Wynn.

The hotel/casinos do not condone solicitation.  If they don't like the way you look/act, you're on their private property and they can ask you to leave, ask you not to return, hold you for criminal trespassing, etc.  They have a good working relationship with Metro (to the point of collaborating to break the law such as requesting Metro to remove protesters from the public sidewalks in front of their property).  The vice unit in Metro occasionally gets free rooms from the various properties so they can conduct sting operations to arrest bar girls and indies in the act of solicitation.  Private security sweeps the property for undesirables.  They even ask for legal name and photo ID at guest elevator (reported at Harrah's if you go back a few months).

As to your specific incident, whose really to say she was a provider?  She could have been.  She could have been some tourist looking to get the attention of horny guys to stroke her ego.  Hell, she might even want to hook up with one or more guys for NSA sex, cause what happens here, stays here (it does happen more often than you think, just most of us guys are too ugly/lazy to find them).  The casino/hotels frown upon public sex, even in a poolside cabana (mostly because it's against the law) and they value their gaming license.  They restrict access to these "european style pools" so they don't break the law on public nudity.

I've seen UTR providers hook up in places like topless pools, nightclubs, strip clubs, etc. but they're definitely harder to find compared to more popular options like indies, bar girls, agency girls, AMPs, dancers at GCs, legal brothels, etc.

Not particularly the best informed, but hardly the worst. Actually, the original post assumes way too much, IMHO.
