Don’t let this Vegas tragedy discourage you from coming to Las Vegas and enjoying our city and all the wonderful providers that are still here.

Yes, we are all heart wrenched over what happened and we all frantically check on family and friends, but we are Las Vegas, we are STRONG and we keep going. The best way to help this amazing city that is always here for you is to keep coming and support Las Vegas and those of us who live and work here.

To those that have texted, called, emailed, twitted and such to check on local providers in Las Vegas, you are thanked for having us near your thoughts.

Don’t let this incident stop you from living life and visiting Las Vegas.

Providers are screwed no pun intended.

Tourism is done in vegas for the time being.

I think providers should quickly lower there fees to entice us to CUM see them.

This could have happened anyplace

Don't be afraid to live life or you'll miss out on so many great experiences

The LV Strip is one of the safest, most secure, heavily policed, monitored/  surveillanced areas per capita

Unfortunately one crazy lunatic did a despicable act causing harm to so many innocent human beings

My home town always perseveres and overcomes

The Vegas community always comes together at times of distress and comes out stronger in the end showing why Nevada is Battle Born

Well said !!  A big #1 to your as well as LaRue’s post,  I couldn’t agree more with the both of you .
..
I myself was actually at a lounge on the strip during the tragedy.
While I was not at the Mandalay Bay the wave of fear and Hysteria engulfed the entire strip. Including the resort I was visiting.   I have never experienced such a thing.
I am thankful to be one of the fortunate ones that made it home last night .My heart goes out to all the victims and their families.  So sad.

A tragic event, Hopefully none of the Great TER ladies were hurt.  I think people will still visit Vegas, it is a Great Place.
I know I will still visit,

Crazy actions by crazy people have always been with us and always will be and events like this can happen anywhere.

Enjoy and appreciate life.

I know I'll be back at end of month for a brief stay or possibly mid November stopping thru for a day + each way on way to Hawaii.  #vegasismyplayground  #prayforlasvegas

I'm already planning my early Nov. Santana concert date with a Special" young lady.....I can't wait.

It's not going to stop me, from coming to LV and enjoying my life.

I was in Vegas the weekend after 9-11. Granted I lived close enough to drive, but I still went, gambled, drank and fucked, errr hobbied.

I recall I was in Vegas 2 weeks after 9/11 - it was like a Ghost town - so strange.

I do hope people continue to visit Vegas, my fear is that more of the international traveler may change their plans.

Well I am working on trying to gather the funds for a trip in December.

First onto the gofundme site to donate to the victims and families. They have a goal of $3.5 million and  are already at $3.1 million.

We never know when it is our time to die so let's live and love now.

Love you LaRue, and all my other fabulous girlfriends here in Vegas.

And you too, you wonderful men who help us live our lives as we choose, in love, not fear...

Please keep coming (!) to Vegas!

We are here for you...

I, for one, cannot wait to go back! Vegas is my favorite city ever! Stay positive, we are stronger than this.

First of all, I want to offer my best wishes to all the victims of this tragic event as well as to their family and friends.

I have NOT cancelled my Las Vegas vacation.  I am looking forward to being there the first week of November.  I already have set up several dates with my favorite lady in Las Vegas.

If you let those who perpetrate evil change the way you live your life they win.  There is no place in the world like Las Vegas and I will always return!  In fact I'll be there next week and have a very special night planned with one of the lovely ladies on this thread.

My sympathies to all affected by this senseless act of violence.  Stay strong, be kind and take care of each other.

First and foremost, my condolences to the family and friends who lost loved ones and to the injured following this horrific, cowardice and evil act.
Also, a thank you to all the brave law enforcement, first responders, tourist and Las Vegas residents who selflessly put their lives on the line to help others both during and after this (once again) COWARDICE ACT!!
I visit your exciting and energetic city often (usually about 6 time a year). This WILL NOT deter me one bit! I will continue to visit your wonderful city!

At the risk of this feeling ThrADy and delete if it is, I came to this section just now to explore around because I've been planning to come for some time and this doesn't even impact that decision, except perhaps to dig in my heels deeper that I'm going.

I wouldn't have considered not going because of this. Keep pushing on, Vegas.

First, my heart goes out to all who lost loved ones, and to the city of Vegas.  Vegas is still, and always will be, my favorite place to play.  As long as I am able I will make an effort.  We cannot let terrorists, home grown or foreign, make our world smaller until we are afraid to venture from our homes.  As Elvis would say Viva Las Vegas.

I started planning my Vegas trip a couple of months ago for the end of October and I'm not changing my plans!  Vegas is my happy place and many of my friends feel the same way.  We will continue to visit and support Vegas!  #Vegas Strong!

Condolences and comfort to everyone, residents, victims and the families of the victims

I'm still cuming to the great city

Thank you for a great post, LaRue!  It's been a heavy week but with so much support from our community and others, it's been very touching at the same time.

And thanks to those of  you responded with your positive thoughts and comments sharing that you are still keeping your plans to visit this fall.  I don't know of anybody who is canceling their trips, whether golf trips or business trips, arriving as soon as this weekend.

It's great to hear comments from the local providers who are also staying positive and strong.

Y'all are amazing!

Hugs to all.

For Great comments!!!

I'll be back in Vegas, maybe Dec.
LaRue herself, would be a Good 'reason', to go back to Vegas.

I always do a little vacation in October before things get crazy at work. I was originally supposed to come to Vegas on the 1st, but I ended up changing my flight to the 15th instead because my Bruins are playing the Golden Knights. Funny how things work sometimes. The news came on my tv literally a minute before I was going to go to bed and ended up being awake until 1:30am watching the news absolutely heartbroken.

The whole thing immediately brought me right back to when I was still living on the east coast. I was at work a couple of blocks away from the finish line where the first bomb went off at the Boston Marathon.  It is repulsive what some human beings are capable of. I hate even referring to them as human beings.

I have been to Vegas 11 times and it is impossible to have a bad time there. I am staying at Vdara, but there are a couple of restaurants I planned on going to at Mandalay Bay and I may have very well been there Sunday night, Chances are I would have been there earlier in the evening, but it definitely makes you think about how fragile everything really is.

Am I still coming? You bet your ass I am coming!! I plan on giving the golf courses, restaurants, and a couple of ladies all of my money lol.

I'm echoing the sentiment.  I refuse to let the horrific actions of 1 person dictate how I run my life and where I visit/go.
