the term "provider"

because it is
-1 - impersonal
2- vague
3- reminds me of insurance/dental care/ medical/insurance / insurance agent providers...among other things
4-- it's hard to start up a conversation..."ymm...ummm..uhuh...so you are a provider"
or "....SO you are a provider!"...." so YOU are a provider"...."so you are A provider"...i think you know where I am going with this.
5- reminds me of that TV commercial with the insurance lady...well two commercials a) red haired lady with name your own price and b) "state farm is there"....hey that is an idea, if I can only sing a tune and
"...Las Vegas provider is there..." POP charlie's (sheen) angels pop up in my room. But I digress.

I suggest a name change. How about Carer, or PE , professional entertainer, or Cc, classy companion, or HPP, happy part time partner, or PL, part time liver (OT? over time ), or  hum doogy bing wow wow...opps ...i digress again.

I think the definition of courtesan implies, if it doesn't actually state, activities that are illegal in Clark County, NV, as well as most of the rest of the USA, whereas the term "adult services provider" is so vague that even an implication would be difficult to ascertain. As for those other terms, while they might be similarly vague, well.....it is obvious that my friend Ezeedude's mental health hasn't changed much over the last couple of years, lol!

of a true story I heard not long ago. A great "provider" that I am acquainted with had an outcall appointment at a client's place. The guy had a fantastic time and eventually shot his load all over himself. The girl immediately got dressed and headed for the door. The guy said "You know, a true courtesan would bring me a warm, damp towel and clean me off." The girl smiled sweetly at him and said "I'm not a courtesan; I'm a Ho!" and walked out the door!
