I hate to say this, but you'd probably have better luck moving to Indie-anapolis.

While, I appreciate the anxiety of frustration, I'm frustrated by you taking it out on my ad thread.  It's not the hugest deal but providers are allowed only one like post per 7 days. Your frustration does not relate to my performance or me as a provider.  Yet you've uglied up my post with your mean smiley faces and exclamations.  You could have easily posted your issue as a general topic for discussion.  You could have sent me a PM or email.

Additionally, the reason why your search brings you "a ton of irrelevant results" is because that part of this industries vernaculer.   Even if I were never spell it that way again: you will not be helped.  So Kindly leave my ad thread alone - you can start  a new thread "I hate the way EricaStone spells "indy"!

With all due respect, my dear, you are... WRONG!!!

Indie is the ONLY proper and legitimate abbreviation for the term "independent", in ANY context.

Indy is exclusively used as an abbreviation for the City of Indianapolis, Indiana, the immediate region surrounding it, or items relating to that particular part of the planet (such as Indy-style race cars). Furthermore, the term Indy is also a registered trademark owned by Brickyard Trademarks, Inc., the licensing arm of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, LLC (check page 188 of last year's Indianapolis 500-Mile Race official program if you have any doubts).

Please go back and actually READ my reply above to see the problems that the improper useage of these abbreviations creates for people doing web searches. And BTW, in the escort world yes, there are "Indy indies" - some of whom occassionally travel to a place known as "Sin City".
