Just taking a wild ass guess here.  But somehow I get the feeling that he booked with multiple providers and then NCNSd you (and who knows how many others).

Newbies:  Please treat the real indies better than this.  If you need to break a date with an agency girl...well, that's not great, either--but an agency can roll with the punches a little better.

When you cancel on an indy, you're taking money out of her pocket--she could have spent that time with some other benefactor who would have paid, or might have been able to put some time in on some civvie pursuit, or something.

Book your dates in advance.  Know who you want to see, and don't go south on people.  Treat people right and they'll treat you right.  That's as important in this here service business as it is in any other.
