okay...so I'm obsessed...booked my flight to Vegas for my  February convention (yeah, I know, but I got a great fare) but I'm arriving on Saturday! Not knowing the Saturday restriction in Vegas...does anyone know of a decent place that will accept a Saturday arrival, and/or a one night stay or should I plan to sleep at the airport?
The convention is at the Stardust this year and I'm not so sure that they will make an exception for me...at least not this far out...any suggestions?

(or perhaps an overnight incall...hmmm...j/k)

I done Sat night arrivals with no problem. There are many hotels in Vegas that will accept a Sat night check in. I suggest downloading TravelAxe. Give it the dates and it will give you a list of hotels. They get a fee from the hotels if you book via the software, but you don't have to.

The Sat night issue stems from the fact that the weekends are the busiest time for Vegas hotels. Most people coming to Vegas for the weekend stay both Fri & Sat nights. If they accept a Sat night arrival, the room will probably have to stay vacant on Fri night in order to assure you have a room. This means no revenue for the room for that night.

TravelAxe is not perfect, but is should be good enough for your purposes.

Most hotels offer Saturday arrival.  In fact, I would book directly with the hotel.  You get the best rates and can even cancel up until 2 day prior to arrival.  That gives you chance to monitor all hotels and a possibly lock in a better rate.  They will gladly adjust rather than cancel and rebook.  My strategy for a long time.

Have fun
