Vegas Dilemma

There are so many great choices in Vegas, it's always tough to choose a provider....when you only visit once a year like me.

I joked with Lorena down below...but it's true it's also tough for me to decide how much to budget for gambling and how much to budget to play with one of Vegas's finest.

If you take X amount of dollars to Vegas, just wondering what percentage you'd spend gambling and how much you'd spend hobbying.

I have to admit, I have a lot better memories of "hobbying" the last couple of years in Vegas than I do gambling. Of course, the dream ( I don't know how realistic it would be ) is to win big at the tables to have more money to see Vegas's great providers.

I mean if you spend all your money on providers the first couple of days and have no money left for gambling.....it would be tough to sit in the room the rest of the trip and watch TV. I'm not big on sight seeing..LOL.

Just wondering what others thoughts are.

Gambling=losing
Hobbying=have fun.

you know i hear where your coming from on the ratio of girls to gambling. right now i'm 60/40 favoring gambling. now that is high on the bet side but if i hit early and heavy all my profit goes to girls.now if i knew my profitability was unlikely due to past experiences i'd move that ratio to gty a girl every night. i rationalize this as when i get a bonus from work i devote all the capital to girls. now you mentioned tables. i dont play cards or tables i bet human and animal competition and i can sit in a racebook for 4 hrs waiting for my horse to run or my team to play. to all the non bettors that are giving advice on gambling remember you can beat a race but you cant beat the races.

Simple... BMM (bring more money)

I gamble first and then depending on how that goes I will move forward or I won't move at all if things don't go well.  Usually makes for a great last night in Vegas when the Table Gods are smiling upon U :)

Ladies first…time spent with them will never be forgotten.

Gambling even IF you win will soon be a faint memory on its way to oblivion.

Spending money on providers first couple of days? I would at least wait 48-72hrs between each encounter. You'll recover better and enjoy each more. Not to mention finish better;-)
It's like if you eat your favorite food everyday. Not that you won't enjoy it, just each enounter's intensity seems to diminish, one after the other unless you give at least a day in the middle. Then gamble days in between.

I prefer to work hard at whatever type of gambling you do, first.  I prefer craps, blackjack and the sports book.  No reward without some production at the tables or book. Being motivated keeps you focused and a better gambler.
As a safety valve, I do bring my 'birthday' money just in case so that I can have at least one foray with one of Vegas's finest before returning to the real world.

I budget one girl (approx. $500/hr) per day/night.  If I'm winning in the casino, I will keep the girl(s) for 2-3 hours (usually at a discount).  If I'm losing, I see them for one hour only.

i read a couple sensible replies here to their budgeting of fun. in response to the guy that said if he wins he doubles up on hrs. man i used do that all the time. that is winnings well spent. instead of keeping the winnings in the wallet for the next day to attack your preffered gamble reward yourself for capitalizing on your risk.
