I'll be playing in the World Series of Poker this year and will be stay at the Rio. I was wondering if anyone knows if providers come to the Rio? It's a little bit off the strip but do they still travel out their. How is security at the Rio also, anyone have the low down? Thanks.

Yes, providers will be at Rio.  No, you won't want to be with any of them.

You Should have no problems there are guards for the key checks and you will have to meet and walk dates up to the room.

Most providers should like not having to get into the strip traffic and there are nice bars and restaurants to meet at the Rio.

I was just at the Rio last night (Friday), seeing a girl from out of town who was doing incall there.  There was no security at the elevators then.  But, she had a suite on a "restricted floor," so a room key was needed to get the elevator to stop there.  As a result, she had to come down and escort me up!

Providers only, not hobbyists.

I have been to the Rio numerous times and concur with your experience.  As I recall, they ususually post security and check keys at the elevator at about 9:00 p.m. nightly.  Prior, your guests can usually come straight up in the elevator.  I also concur with another poster who suggested that your guest dress casual and fit with the crowd.  Always a good idea to do that.  I usually ask that of outcall providers no matter what city I am in.  I will try my luck there again late January.
