The palms hotel

Someone told me The Palms Hotel was a swinging place. Anyone agree or have any input!

I've not stayed there since the new tower came online, but my impressions are it is full of California/Vegas hotties wanting To Be Seen on weekends. This has upsides and downsides- upside is eye candy, downside is lots of crowds and lines.

Ghostbar is pretty neat. Rain was 'eh" as a club. I like Little Buddha for dinner (it's like an upgraded PF Chang's). The casino bar has your usual ratio of girls asking if you "need company" (but not as many as Bellagio or Mandalay Bay), if THAT is what you mean by "swinging" (and my suggestion would be to try to hook up with one of the fine and well-reviewed independent ladies of Vegas searchable for on this very site, instead of doing bar hookups, unless you really LIKE gambling).

The video poker is good (not too hard to find 9/6 Jacks or Better at around 100% payout), the other gambling is pretty standard for the Strip.

The rooms have comfortable beds, and it may be worth your time to do the $20 trick to go to the junior suites on the ends of halls in the old tower, because the soundproofing sucks (very thin walls). The room decor is California/W hotel-ish (not quite as nice as a W, but pretty good). The pool is more for looking and eye candy than actual use, IMO- Mandalay Bay and Bellagio's are better.
