I am getting ready to do my normal Vegas trip and was wondering about hotel security.  I normally stay at the Bellagio but have had an uncomfortable experience with the security.  Normally they are just great but after seeing me go upstairs every night with a differenct lady drew a little attention.  Be that as it may, so the last time I came to Vegas I stayed at Ballys.  It was great becasue there was no security at the elevators.  I would stay there again but want something a little better. Does Cosmopolitan have elevator security. I read Tasha's list but there was nothing on the Cosmo...If anyone has information on the security measures at Cosmopolitan please respond....

There was no security there. Just card key access to get to your floor. Great place to stay. I am planning another stay there in May. Get a room with a fountain view if you can.

Fabulous hotel! Definitely request a Bellagio water view... they have nice balconies to bend over!!!!!

I saw security frequently, especially in the main lobby area of The Cosmo, but I never had a problem and I met several ladies in the lobby when I stayed there on my last trip. I even watched a few 'casino girls' work the men at the bar without security getting involved. In fact, the only thing I did see security do was make a family leave some chairs by the Vesper Bar because they didn't allow children in the bar.

That he was talking about the kind of security that stands right outside of the elevators and asks you for your room key. Not the general security walking the floor. They tend to be a little more aware of you parading a number of ladies to your room night after night, and the Cosmo doesn't have security at the elevators.

I really wanted to know about the security right at the elevators, but thanks everyone for giving some input...I am sold Cosmo it is......
