Okay, I lied, it’s not my birthday. Please don’t hate me for the practical joke, but it was a serious wager, with another well known hobbyist who will remain anonymous. I lost on both counts unfortunately.
It started over a breakfast meeting and joking about the many birthday wishes that pop up on the board. My friend told me there would be many well wishers, and I said perhaps not more than say 10 maybe and the bet was on. A $300 wager was placed and then he had to convince me to do it, which took some talking on his part, since leading people on with a thing like this is not cool. Needless to say I posted it. And it had to be a ‘Happy Birthday to ME’ egotistical post by wager. I mean what fools would wish happy birthday to themselves? Lol I warned my friend that at least a few would call BS on me because they know that I have for several years celebrated my birthday with a certain famous blonde hottie on July 24th the same day for both of us. She must be sleeping or letting me wallow in my stupidity for this post. Lol
So I lost on both counts; lost $300 and looked stupid doing it. Oh well. I’ve bigger fish to fry in life in the future and a couple here know what I am referring to. Also with only 5 days left on VIP status, if you want to send me a nasty PM for this before I lose my PMing capability, please have at it. lmao
