Yesterday it was 109 (record), today's high is expected to be 106. Don't give me this "but it's dry heat" jive. An oven is dry heat but you don't see me sticking my arse in it ...

BigPappa, I doubt it's even broken 50 degrees in Fairbanks... stay home and be thankful ...

Oh no, we won't be staying home.  This time next week I'll be on my way!!!! Can't miss saying good bye to Jade!!! Right now it's 62 and is supposed to get up into the low 70's today.

I spoke to my Mom who lives in Maine and she said it was 49 degrees two nights ago! I told mom, I wasn't in hell, just next door!!!

Sounds like things here in Phoenix. Usually we can count on Vegas being 10 degrees cooler. We go an extra month on below 100 days this year, but just give it another month or so, and we'll be praying for it to just get to 110!!

You haven't lived in hot weather until you burn you hand on the seat belt buckle, and your car battery explodes in the mall parking lot!

But what bugs me the most is that even hot like it is outside, I still need sweater inside the casinos! The AZ card rooms are no different.

Hell here in chicago, one day it's friggin 70 and brezzy. Next day it.s 65 and calm.  The damn blue sky blinds you when the sun is out.

But I think it's worse when those big fluffy clouds start to block the sun. Makes that 15 mph wind even cooler.

Friggin cool breeze makes it so hard to sleep when it's 50 degrees at night and you can't shut the damn window.

Then they say this weekend it suppose to get to damn 76 . What the hell I wish it would stay consistent like you guy's have it.  At least you can plan your day.

It doesn't take nearly that long to go thru all those weather conditions. Lately, we can cover them all in 6 to 8 hours.

Wow, car batteries exploding!!!  Sounds like the heat in Phoenix is as bad as the cold in Fairbanks. We have to plug the cars in when it cold 10 below or so, or the battery freezes.  The tires freeze and become square and make it hard to drive.  Car seat freeze as well.  Heat or cold, cold or heat!!

It's a cool 70 degrees in all Casino ... do we really think Pappa is going to venture outside .. when he has so much indoor activity to take care of ... have  a great trip Pappa Pump ...

Sounds great! Wish I was there! Today it was 52 in Chicago,north wind 20 MPH.I hope it's 110 when I visit LV in July;I'll be in the pool or in the air conditioned casino having a COLD beer!
