Is wrong with the Vegas resorts? Is business down, and they feel the need to gouge their clients by charging excessive parking fees?
So, does this mean providers will increase their rates, to cover the parking costs
Was this for their parking garage or the outside parking lots?I hope this is not the fee to valet park.
Westgate aka LVH aka Las Vegas Hilton is going to decrease their business with this idea.
The strip hotels haven't even implemented their pay for parking idea yet.Wow!
It makes sense to prevent people from parking then getting a cab all over town and their car is there for the whole week they are in town. It's smart to regulate the coming/going of guests and visitors. I feel this will assist in the long run with scams, casino girls as well as problem gamers.
If you can't afford to park just request a parking fee for outcall bookings to cover the cost if it's really that big of a deal.

The fee is for all lots but if you have a room key it's free!
Its like the $27 resort fee each day to use the internet and the gym
I just spoke with a representative of the Westgate. He stated that the Westgate Las Vegas does not charge a parking fee except for oversized vehicles, which is $1.50 per night. Guests and visitors are treated the same. Please verify for yourself...800.732.7117. Good luck...

Well I've been here all day and they have an automatic ticket dispenser at the entrance and exit with a little automatic arm so I don't know what the representative was talking about and I'm sitting here with my ticket in my hand!
I got a room key from my gent and thus saved the $20 bucks, but I sure did have to stick it into the machine for the arm to lift!!! Maybe it's just for this weekend because of the ACM's and NADA convention......hopefully!

i was actually surprised by the lack of paying for parking!!
anywhere else that i visited you had to pay.
I'm from baltimore. you pay.
i always visited east coast cities..
philly, pay.
new york, pay.
dc, pay.
anywhere else that i have been, if it was a major city, pay.
las vegas.. i couldnt believe it!
many cities where you can gamble.. so long as you get a certain amount of points or have a top players card, you do not pay. I'm not sure why they aren't implementing this. the casinos just want the gamblers back. thats their business, so it makes sense. they dont want the families that come on off nights and not give them any money.
i just booked a few nights in new york next week, they have a resort fee in new york. thats new to me. those hotels dont even have spas like vegas does to be able to relax in...

From my understanding, they'll all have paid parking after the summer unless you're an employee.

The first shot across the bow - "Event Parking" - will start next week when the garages at New York-New York, Monte Carlo, and Aria all will charge at least $10 to park from 4-11pm whenever there is a show at the T-Mobile Arena.
Hotel guests will be exempted but valet at those hotels will cost upwards of $30!
Note that this is not the full time parking fees - those will start rolling out to all MGM Resorts hotels (Bellagio, Aria, Vdara, Luxor, Excalibur, New York-New York, Monte Carlo, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Mirage, and Circus Circus) starting in May
