Getting ready for my annual Vegas Trip for my Days of Debauchery.  This is the 3rd year. Last year's theme was TnT (Titillating and Tats) -  included:

1. "Memorable" visits with Charming Cara and Ashley Jade
2. My first Tattoo

This year theme is Guns 'n Gals and my list includes:

1. Repeat visit with a friend
2. New visit with a touring lady (finalizing details)
3. Prescreened with HHPC (in case I feel spontaneous or have enough energy)
4. Plans to experience the gun range

Asking for board help or suggestions on the last  one. I will google for ideas but thought I should reach out to the LV Board for local insights.

Greetings to old friends … Tasha, Ashley Jade, and Cara! Wishing you all the best!  The memories I shared with you, still make me smile!

I think Center Mass Firearms in Henderson has a video backstop gun range. If so, it would be a lot more fun than shooting paper.

It's got ranges for rifle, pistol, shotgun, and archery.  It's only a couple of years old, so it's in good shape and a great facility.

I've only shot at the shotgun range, trap to be specific.  They also have skeet and sporting clays fields.  (For rifle and pistol I belong to a private club that has a shooting range.  It's a members only facility so I won't bother describing it.)

The Clark County Shooting Range is located WAY up on the north side of town.  Following Decatur Blvd. as far north as you can until it ends and you are there.  (It's easiest to exit the north 215 at Decatur.)

Have fun, with all your endeavors.

i havent rented weapons at either place but i have shot many a time at american shooters and would recomend them since i have been to both and the gun store is more a tourist trap. american shooters is more relaxed

if u need a ride there then go to the gun store they run a shuttle to the strip and back

You are spot on about the gun store, but they rent full auto weapons which many places outside Nevada don't do, so I suggested that as one to check out. I used to take all my visiting friends there for the experience. They take pics (and charge you for them) to show your friends. It's a tourist trap giving tourists another unique Sin City experience they won't get in most blue states.

Yeah, I don't have to rent weapons, I have my own and plenty of friends willing to lend me their's if I want to try something out. I've travelled with weapons in locked cases following the airline guidelines, but since 9/11, it's become a real hassel. If I were flying somewhere and wanted to shoot, I would either rent at a local range or borrow from my buddies.

Just my .02 and depending where you are coming in from... The Gun Store on E. Tropicana is a place you won't find in Anytown, USA. My California clients get a thrill when I take them there... obviously because they can't shoot anything like what they have in California.

I'm also assuming you are not bringing in your own guns... they have a pretty wide range of guns to shoot there.

Personally... nowadays I shoot more at the Clark County shooting range.... but it's not hard to find something similar in anytown USA. Along with the rest of the gun ranges...

If you want to check out a full instruction course and go home thinking you are a pro... about an hour outside of Vegas is the Front Sight Training institute that has some pretty extensive training in various firearms. You need to contact them at frontsight.com for course details, upcoming classes... etc...

Have a great time!
