Hey Everyone!

I am finally back in Vegas after an exhaustive 2 weeks out of town; and it was an interesting trip to say the least. I was snowed in while skiing in New Mexico with a client and then delayed overnight in Denver trying to fly back from Christmas with the family! So needless to say I am happy to be far away from snow, things are still a bit of a whirlwind so I wanted to post a quick general announcement/update post (for those who are interested) now, as I am still in the process of replying to individual emails/messages received during my absence. Sorry again to anyone that was concerned about me after not being able to reach me!


Email-
If you sent me an email anytime from Dec 18th-29th I did receive it and you were supposed to get an Auto-Reply to let you know that I would be away and not able to access email, but I set it up through Outlook not knowing that since I didn’t download the messages off of Yahoo during my time off, no one received them! Everyone knows I’m on my email 24/7 so hopefully you understand not hearing back from me is unusual and that I am trying to catch up as fast as I can!! I have a little over 200 emails from those 2 weeks and I am plowing through them so please be patient for my reply. Requests for earlier dates in Jan will be addressed first followed by photo requests and then emails for the latter part of January.

Website Redesign-
I am still working on the design overhaul for my new website (Address will still be: http://www.theamazingchase.com) but I have a new girlfriend that needed me to create a site for her (see below), so mine was put on the back burner and should be up in 2-3 days..

Something else I've been working on as a companion to my website will be finished and added in about the next 2 weeks. It will be similar to a Blog, (which I tried to keep up with last year but just couldn't find the time to do) but it will have less personal “about me” stuff and more “about the hobby” information. It is some pretty interesting stuff (in my opinion, as the writer) everything from Advice for Clients whether it’s your first foray into the hobby or fiftieth (you veterans know who you are Smarty, Spinner, etc lol). Along with some of the Guides you’ve seen me post here (Swinging 101, How to hobby while your wife is in Town, The 10 Step Provider/Wife Pickup) and of course some of my personal musings drawn from research on various aspects of this hobby that I have accumulated and my experiences as a provider (no names of course). Eventually I plan to form all of this into a book and this is an outlet for me to write and receive feedback on what I have to say…


2007 Rates- I did want to go ahead and publicly mention that effective Jan 1st all of the rates/experiences on my website will be +$100 more than they are currently (Obviously those who pre-booked Jan dates and beyond have already been made aware of this).  

On a personal note I just want everyone to know this is not an ego thing (though I do pride myself on my stellar reviews) nor is money my motivation for participating in the hobby. I am simply raising my rates because I am getting too many emails, photo requests and appointment forms each day that I can hardly keep up! Because I only see 1 client per day I end up turning down half of the requests anyways, but as you can see I do put some cognitive thought and effort into each TER post or email that I write; so even if I am declining an appointment I end up writing five paragraphs apologizing and suggesting girlfriends.  I added it up the other day and on average I'm sending and receiving about 50 emails daily; which has me spending between 4hrs and 6hrs daily reading, screening and responding. You throw in my spring UNLV class schedule which has me on campus 3 days a week; plus homework and then back home getting ready and going out for a few hours on date with a client in the evening and I end up with very little “me time”. So hopefully you can see that the rate increase is the only way I can regain some free time for myself by reducing the email volume!

For those clients that I have SEEN in the past year, I will honor the previous rate for our next appointment together and on the subsequent appointment I will spilt the difference in the old rate and new rate (so your 3rd appt would be $50 than what you paid before) and any dates after that would be subject to the current rate.  

My New Friend-
And finally, the friend I mentioned above is named Makayla and I am very pleased to introduce her to TER and our great little Vegas Hobby community! Her website can be found here: it’s not quite finalized but the pertinent information (rates, photos, phone number, etc) is up now. I will be adding more pictures in the next 2-3 days and a link to her TER reviews once she gets her first one. Once it is perfected I imagine she will be posting an introduction of herself till then you can contact her at the email address or phone number listed on the site. She is a personal friend of mine and Breeze (This Breeze: not the craigslist one) so she is available for doubles with either of us, or if you’re feeling really adventurous a triples session with all 3 of us… (I’ll pack the heart defilibrator in my toy bag, just in case…lol)  

I can't imagine anyone will take the time to read all of this, but there were a bunch of things I needed to put our there into the TER universe and once I start writing it is hard for me to stop!That's all for now, again sorry for the novel length post...
