I was hoping someone would “Remember Pearl Harbor” other than this old octogenarian.  

It is a day too that I think of my relatives older than I who fought and some of whom died paying the ultimate price to protect the freedoms we enjoy…

I was barely a teenager on December 7, 1941 and what I remember most was the unity of purpose that swept across the UNITED States of America.  While I have no desire to turn the op’s post into any sort of political discussion, it is sad to see our country so divided today.
