20 minutes prior to appointment time  my smart phone just dies.  So I have no email, no phone and no way to contact my date short of running around NYC looking for nearest internet kiosk so I can access my google voice.

Luckily, after 3rd attempt the phone rebooted and day was saved.

Lesson learned? keep extra track phone just in case and write phone number on a piece of paper that can be disposed of after the appointment.

After arranging a session with one of my ATF's, Marie, corresponded a few days ahead of time and then a complete stand up.  Not even a sorry, afterwards.  I hope that she is ok.  Anyone hear anything?

Sorry to hear you were stood up doll. Sometimes these things do happen; personal family issues, car problems and a great number of other things, but it would be nice to receive some type of message letting you know the date would not happen, so that you can possibly make other arrangements.

I do hope she is OK.

Don't recall the OP requesting any referrals, only that he was stood up by Marie, hope she is okay, and if anyone knew. Not that he needed a referral.

You see, that is why there is a rule about shilling. Guess you forgot to read that in the excitement to get the shill in.

Agreed always have a back up plan.   See my review of Katie Flowers who I strongly recommend.  I had a blast with Marie last time (see my last review) and I was disappointeed and annoyed more than anything.  I hold no grudges and will call Marie again as long as I am assured that the stand up was just a fluke.  Hope that she and all of my girls all over the country are well.

My reason for the suggestion is, IF one does a little digging, the provider that stood up the OP and the provider that I suggested could be sisters.  Heck, they could pass for the same person!  Look at ALL pictures, social networks and everything.

Completely UNTRUE! I had no appt w/ you Ravis, Not to mention the Fake Review you posted!! Idk why you posted this or just wrote this Fake, back dated Review!.. if anyone reads my reviews they can see I never Stand anyone up Ever I don't know "Ravis" and he does not know me or he wouldn't have made so many mistakes in his review and still hasn't replied to my PM....

I could post the emails where the appointment was set up and even confirmed a few days before with only the hotel room to be conveyed after check in.  And there was nothing fake about the review and you know it.  Glad to hear that you are ok though.

Gentlemen, this is not the case.  I could post the email thread setting up the meeting.  And the review of course is true.  It is sad that many calls and emails after being stood up were not returned now only to deny that there was a meeting and to question my character.  I did not post this to damage anyone in any way.  She is a great provider and I was hoping that she was ok as the stand up was not normal behavior nor was the lack of returned calls and emails after the stand up.  I am glad she is well as she has now reappeared.

Granted there seems to be an ongoing disagreement between the provider/hobbyist in this case. Unfortunately this underlines a problem that I have experienced in both LA and LV: last minute no shows. All of mine have been with well reviewed and otherwise respected providers. It is just a tremendous letdown after complying with references and arrangements. I realize that emergencies do arise.
