Have the same layouts for the rooms ,which I love. They have a large sectional couch in the living area , perfect for lounging or sharing a cocktail with company.
Both properties are connected and have great restaurants and clubs.
It's a one stop shop for a great vegas getaway.

Wondering if anybody has any suggestions as to what might be the nicer place. It's been quite a while since I've been to Vegas so not familiar with either. June is my birthday month and they have a great special. I just got a great offer to stay mid-week at either of these places.
As the ladies above said, Palazzo is newer, but the rooms at the Venetian have been redone since I stayed there a few years back, so room wise its 50/50.
I like the way the bedroom is slightly elevated, and the large bathroom is very impressive.
The Venetian and Palazzo are connected, so moving from one to the other is easy peasy.
If the same type rooms is available for the same price I would choose Palazzo, the rooms are slightly bigger at 720sq-ft (Venetian's are 650sq-ft) and its newer. But if there is a difference in prices for the same type room, book the cheapest one, as they look virtually the same.
Whatever one you choose, you will enjoy the beautiful Venetian or Palazzo.
BTW...Venetian is modeled on Venice, Italy, as you no doubt know, and Palazzo means Grand Building in Italian, which you probably don't know (
)
