Started with no references, still don't belong to P411

I'm sure it's a tremendous help, though.

I just got lucky, I guess:  I write well, and don't hold much back when contacting providers.  I can refer them to places where my name and likeness are available on the 'net (and, no, NOT Facebook).  So with the first couple or three ladies I saw, I could have been turned down, I suppose; happily that wasn't the case.

In general, when I've asked providers if my references checked out, I'm either told Yes, or "I didn't bother, you seemed ok, and I went with my gut".

It would be nice if I had this kind of game with the civvies...

I do not dabble that much as a hobbyist.. So dont have any real "references".

I did the RS2K thing 2 years ago, felt this I was risking my anonymous standing at that.  

So, as I really dont have References to offer up, especially when travelling, what would be a good substitute?  

In the past have offered my business card, which does match my ID, etc,.,,,not not trying to hide me, just like ultimate discretion and not sure "references" accomplishes that.

There are ladies who see newbie gents who have no references or gents who are not too active and don't have any current references.There are always other options other than references for screening.
I would advise reaching out to the lady or ladies you are interested in and asking if there are other options besides references for screening.Or you can sign up for P411 and then search for newbie friendly ladies.

..wouldn't he also be uncomfortable w P411?  Or do they have different methods of accepting clientele that I'm unaware of? (maybe DM would be better for this?

I feel like I am in this boat as a newly independent provider.  In Los Angeles especially people are so reluctant to book appointments when you are just starting out.  It doesn't matter how long I've been in the business with agencies or in the strip clubs, if there are no reviews, business is going to be very difficult. You just have to wait until someone will take a chance and write a review.  I've applied to P411 but am currently in pending status.

I see you're on City Source, that should help you attract clients. Keep on posting and have you posted on the national photo board yet?  BTW, great artwork, however some older guys have a hard time with ink, so that might be effecting your biz. Also didn't see a website or rate.

Thank you for the suggestion on posting on the National photo board, I will do that. A website is in production and rate is $400 for the hour. Oh and I was approved by P411 late yesterday so after they verify my ID I will have that to my credit.Yay!

I can screen in other ways and don't always have to have references. Lots of ways around that!
