Some providers do "collect" room keys

I get to Vegas quite a bit where I can play without any issues but later in September I am going to be meeting with several investors for one of my businesses. I usually fit in a play day before people come in or the day after they leave but on this trip the timing won't work due to other travel I have planned.

Given the "sensitivity" around the investors coming in I really need a low profile. Too many to hide from (expecting 10-20 total and they will be all over the Encore and Wynn gambling, drinking, and dining). I was wondering if there are any ladies who already possess a hotel security pass at the Encore? This way I don't have to run the risk of meeting someone at the valet or lobby bar and be spotted by anyone. I met with a lady at the Palazzo once and she already had a hotel key from a previous visit and was able to breeze through security while I waited in my suite.

I would hate to miss out on a chance to play as I won't be back in Vegas for at least three more months. And we all know you can never play enough in Vegas.

Thoughts?

Keeping hotel room keys to try to bypass security later. Many hotels change the color/design of the key card.
I don't think a provider would be silly enough to try to use an old key to get pass security a sure fire way to get 86'd off the property.I know a few ladies that tried this didn't work out to well for them.
Not worth it in my opinion.
Why not find a provider who offers incall on or around the strip if the issue is you are worried about keeping a low profile around the hotel?

Good point. I think it might just be easiest if I get a room at the Cosmo for playtime and just take a taxi there for those hours. Thanks for the input.

Incall would be best. I have done that before. Or you can just rent another room where there is not hotel securtiy at the elevators and have her meet you there.

A couple of providers I see regularly ask me if they can have one of the room keys after our date.  I always say Sure.  It's no skin off my nose.  It has kind of worked out for me both ways.  I've been able to wait in the room for my date to arrive since she already had a key to flash at security.

Truthfully, a lot of the time the security guys are pretty asleep at the switch.  You could probably flash your AAA membership card at them, and they'd just say, "Have a nice evening, ma'am."

I love Vegas… :)

You give your room key to a provider?

Do you go down to the front desk and have it turned off so she can't go in when you're not ther(edit)e?

That would seem insanely risky to me. Letting someone have access to your room. Not only what belongs to you, but what belongs to the hotel..

I have a house in town also.  But providers don't like coming to private homes, and besides, my house is in a gated community, so it's not so easy for providers to just "drop by" (I tend to learn real names of my regular providers fairly quickly, but there's no way a first-timer would/could/should divulge that information, so hotel it is).

Usually, when our private time is over, my date (or dates) and I all tend to leave together, so none of my property is at risk.  Letting them have a room key card is just not a big deal.  I've never had a problem with it in the past.

I agree it's a valid concern you're expressing, but the way I operate, some of the risk factors you're pointing at aren't that significant here.
