1) I know Johnny, and if anything, he's a devoted family man. Whether he would play with the girls would be his business and his business only. He certainly does not need some mid-level wannabe host to hook him up. If he did play, I am sure he has outs at the highest and most discreet level. There is more to this which I really can't share in a public forum which makes this all the more hilarious, but I digress.
Which reminds, me, Johnny, if you're reading this, when we going to Macau?
1a) As a general rule, "high rollers" do not need flunkies to hook them up. C'mon...NEXT!!!!
2) When someone asks to do business with an escort and asks the escort to put money up, a huge red flag should go up, just like it should in any business.
3) A guy I know in town made a good point over drinks not too long ago, and it kind of fits here. He opined that, consider the people who move here to Vegas to make the Big Score. Those people were too stupid to make it in their own hometown, yet they're going to try to make it in a city which exists a deeper and hungrier pool of sharks, and no shortage of traps.
I couldn't agree more, but I didn't think of it in those terms util he pointed it out. Once in a while, you get the 1 in 100 who are truly gifted at what they do, whether it be involved with the casino business, whether it be legal or not, and they flourish. In most cases, they're back home, or in jail two years later.
I received a call this morning around 9am on my client phone from a man saying his name was Thomas and he worked in VIP at MGM Grand for High rollers. He went on to say that his client is in town and his normal girl is unavailable, so after looking through ads on Eros.com he found me and loved my pics and would like to hire me for 2-weeks.
He then went on to say how lavish everything would be and everything us girls like to hear. He even went so far as to say his client was Johnny Chan, a very famous international poker player, and that I could look him up on the internet, which you can.
He then proceeds to say, we must get going right away and he would have the money for 1 week of my time Western Union to me today. All I had to do was go to a Western Union (one of his choice, which was the flamingo casino in Vegas) and open up and Wire Transaction and then do 7 transactions in the amount of 998 to a fake person.
He stated this would establish me for large transfers with Western Union. Then he would have 7 transfers sent back to me in the amount of 5grand or more each. Of course he would need my Real name. He went on to say, once I have gotten the money from him, that I could go back and cancel my initial 7 transactions of 998 and then I would be picked up an hour later in a limo.
He will also say, if you don’t want to use your own money for the 7 transactions of 900 + dollars, he will gladly lend you the money to do it with, but of course you have to pay him back ASAP plus his 20% cut of the money you make from the “high roller”
When I asked him why we could not just deal with cash in hand…he rambled on and on and on, and when I probed a little more about him…well lets just say he got frustrated.
Well he goes on and on…so I called a friend very well informed about my “industry” and knows tons of girls…he of course said yes it is a scam and another female friend in the “industry” came to him with the same story asking for advice about 3months ago.
I then call the MGM grand to verify that this person “Thomas” worked there and all the information he gave about his position and they said No, amongst other things.
Basically, I may have rambled on here a bit, but if someone calls you stating he is working with a high roller in Vegas and asked you to make transactions via Western Union and then in return you will get your money, don’t do it. But somehow, I think the majority of us girls are smart enough to catch on to this one.
looks like he is still trying and the scam still works
I remember that guy last year. I swear what his scam is that he will have you run around to all the casinos taking money out in a credit line. He said," Thats how he can move the money for you to have for seeing one of his high rollers".
What's a credit line? money you have or don't have in your account. The casino will give it to you but you have to pay it back. Then the guy gets very angry at the end of the scam. He threatons to give him the money back or he'll call the police. Like an idiot I didn't know what a credit line was and I didn't want to steal so I western unioned it back to him. I gave him his alledged 2 grand back cause I didn't think it was right to steal. a week later and 2 grand in debt I get a phone call from different casinos. The casinos want there money now. So not only did that jerk get 2 grand then I was 4 grand in debt cause I have to pay the casinois back !!
That guy to this day has 2 grand of my money. I had to council my credit card cause of him. I haven't had good credit since.
He's a jerk! If you get any recent info on him let me know cause I know some guys that could help me with this matter. I can't stand thieves!
the only other information i have that my help is the phone number that he kept calling from it is 702-413-3701.
This guy "Thomas" tried to pull this on me when I first started. He used another name at that time. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
well, yes, being New i dont know the scams yet, but thank god that I am smart and have friends that are even smarter...LOL
Thank god I am smart enough not to fall for it either.
Yeah I received that call about a year ago as well. It;s like people have nothing to do in there time.
Yea he is smart enough to do that but not smart enough to get a job.
I've only been at this just under a year and this guy has called me at least a dozen times already. I've seen posted in other places (I don't recall where) that he has taken a few girls for thousands with this scam. I guess it must be true or he'd have given up on it by now. Good lookin' out LaRue! ![]()

this guy never contacted me ……… or maybe he did years ago and I blew him off cause there is NO WAY I would EVER open an account in my name or give someone money upfront and I don’t care how much money I am promised in return !!! ………………..
It’s like those money order scams . you know cash the money order and keep this much and send me that much ………...… yeah right like I was born yesterday.
All I know is if a guy is a high roller then he has no problem giving me money IN CASH when we meet . end of story no if’s or but’s.
BUT
back in May 2005 this guy told another provider that I know him and that I worked with him.
How he referred much business to me.
Back then he used the name Robert
When she called me asking about “Robert the Limo driver/ Casino host from the MGM “ I told her sorry I don’t know him I don’t know anything about opening an account and I warned her to be careful it may be a scam or LE .
She kept talking to him and believed him over ME !! She accused me of trying to prevent her from making money that I wouldn’t verify him because I am competitive and jealous ………………………. Yeah that’s what you get for trying to help a girl out.
But yet still I am always happy to help ladies, answer questions and always provide referrals even though I myself don’t ask for referrals from others.
I had 100 ways ( ok maybe only 10 LOL LOL
to prove to her I never talked or met this guy Robert . She couldn’t prove to me nothing but to say , Well Robert says he knows you and worked with you. ( Ok go ahead and believe a “John” over me )
Of course months later when this scam became public the lady apologized to me for not believing me .
Moral of the story……….. 1) Cash only !!!
2) if you ask a lady for help and advise and you don’t want to believe her, then don’t ask for help.Figure it out on your own.
Looks like about every 6 months he tries to hit up new comers , hoping to catch a naïve lady. Thank God LaRue you were smarter then that.
Whenever this guy notices a new independent provider in Las Vegas, I think he hits her up with this scam! He tried it with Gina when she first became independent! Fortunately, she told me about it and I had already heard of it. He changes the details a little each time, I think, but some parts of it remain constant, like he is doing it for Johnny Chan, which is patently ridiculous! Anyway, like any good con artist, he can make people believe him! It must work for him in some cases. Most people don't want to admit that they were taken in by a scam like this! So we usually only hear from the people that figured it out before it was too late!
T.L.
so happy even though i was half asleep when he called i was able to catch on to his Bullshit, and a little help with a phone call to a friend who also confirmed it was a scam
