On tonight's episode of Gene's Simmons Family Jewels (A&E network) Gene decides to write a book about the history of prostitution and takes a trip out to Sheri's Ranch to interview working girls. During the line-up one of the girls introduces herself as Tawny Brie who has worked (or may still be working) as an independent provider in Las Vegas...
She was very well spoken and honest which is a nice change given the recent media coverage depicting all escorts as uneducated, drug addicted street walkers who turn all our money over to pimps. I don't know if she reads this board but I just wanted to say Kudos to her!!
She was terrific and yes well spoken! Gene is such a trip and I especially liked his take on the fact that he likes careers that empower women and thinks it should be legalized.
I did not get to see the show, but of course I am familiar with Gene. I actually made a visit a few years back to Sherri's Ranch to check it out just for fun. It is a beautiful place, sort of a "brothel museum". But the rules and the regulations that the ladies working there must abide by are really rather strict. They have a real "lock down" policy on what the working girls can and can not do, and when you are used to freedom and mobility I bet its difficult to get used to such a work environment. --Sitara Devi
