To both hobbyists and providers alike.  

If you're in a relationship what would define you coming out and seeing a provider?  Does it nag in the back of your mind?  And providers do you guys think much about the fact that the hobbyist has a family?  Not putting anyone down, but just a question really.  

I know everyone makes their own decisions and sometimes you just gotta "slip away" for a bit.  Do you guys feel guilty about it later or is it only for that time frame nothing in the world matters?  Just curious people, please don't take this question the wrong way.

I see no one has answered, so I'll bite.  Honestly, I never think about it & don't care.  I don't ask inquisitive questions about any of my clients private life.  I am sure some have families (ie. wives & kids).  It is my job to relieve your stress, and usually that is caused by family or work!

If they volunteer it and want to talk, I'll listen.  But I never give advise!  I don't want anyone doing something stupid because I said something or made a joke (I have a wicked sense of humor).

So, in other words, "Nahh, I don't feel guilty"

I'm married with a small child.   Truth is if I didn't have a small child I would have already left my wife.  We tolerate each other and every couple of months we have sex.  That's about it.  I don't want to start a relationship with someone but frankly I want to have sex more than 5 times a year.  I don't feel at all bad about it.  There's an old saying that you don't pay a provider to have sex with you, you really pay her to leave afterwards.  No strings attached.   If I had some regular girl on the side I could see that getting ugly but quick.

A client once said to me:

My wife and I don't have sex anymore, but we stay together for our young child.

I could either be ANGRY at her for not having sex regularly, or
I could live with the GUILT of seeing a provider, and not have the anger build-up.

Made so much sense to me.  ...and the envelope (like FacadeNE said), cuts ties.

 
Personally, as a woman, I'm okay if a man I'm with sees a provider, but I'd be damned if he goes out to a bar, hooks up with a woman, gives her his number, etc.  This world is about compartmentalizing fantasy versus reality.... and many "outsiders" don't get that.  

That's my two cents.

Beautiful minds everyone, just wanted to see what the general consensus was.  Like I said I did not post that question to offend anyone, just merely a question.  Thank you for those who responded.

My wife and I have an understanding, we are older now, and we haven't had sex for several years (except once on vacation last year).  We even talk about it.  We joke about it all the time.  Sometimes she will help edit my stories.

Sometimes I feel guilty about the money, but I compensate by adhering to a budget and by earning extra funds with a part time job.
