Gambling with Providers, how is it done ?...

I'm getting ready for a trip to Vegas and I'm considering things to do in addition to the obvious.  I've been to dinner, and I've been to a show; how do you go gambling with a provider?

This might sound dumb, but I only come twice a year and I take my dice game seriously.  Here are my questions:

Do you provide them with a bank roll to bet with?  or,
Do they (you) just stand there and watch, or keep track of the money?
Do you talk during the game, like you're teaching, and does that bother the other players?
Do other players object if your non playing date takes up room at a crowded table?
Is it even possible at poker?
Or do i take my game too seriously to consider this activity, and I should just cross it off the list?

If anybody has experience at this I would appreciate the help.

thanks

I know that many of us here could write a book on the subject, but this is something that I think every hobbyist who ever plans on visiting LV should know about.

I can handle it, I'm not a deb, just a little romantic.

Had two ladies slide in next to me, throw down the minimum bet and say, "win me some money and I'll go out with you". I covered the free odds bet, parlayed it up to a decent amount, they walked, it was mostly the casino's money, didn't care, it was fun flirting, one of them tipped me.

Some ladies may use some of their own money if they enjoy the game you're at and the minimum bet is low, but I'd say the best thing is to plan on giving them some to gamble with.  Maybe if they win you get it back and they keep what they won.  That can be a win-win for you both.

I taught my favorite lady how to play craps and initially gave her some money to play with.  Now she will often take out her own to play alongside me.  Of course it helps that we usually do overnights or weekends, I doubt someone would do that if it was only a date of several hours.

I've also had a lady who had no interest in gambling and was content to just stand behind me and look sexy.  If you want to teach her, a table with a low minimum is best.

Most casinos will aloow her to stand next to you if it is not busy, but if she not playing she will be asked to stand back to let those willing to bet have room.

I would rule out poker as it doesn't work well for dates.

If you really are a serious craps shooter, I suggest you cross it off your list.

If you do take a provider to a Craps Table, be sure to bet the Hard Eight, or, as my little Blonde Crapshooting friend used to shout "ATE HARD!!"   It seemed to really lighten the mood at the table!

When they get that surprise black chip and ask "what's this", you can say "that's are hard eight that came twice".  Most fun you can have with a dollar!

. . . and have her make big bets when the count is high.

By the way, penetration is very important in BJ.

We were sitting at a VP bar and she was playing and I was not.  Then she slipped money into my machine.

I hate to gamble, but the one or two times I have with a provider, I gave her money to do so.

My date has thrown money down to play with - if I end up winning, I give him back his initial throw down money and keep what I have won and I have also played with my own money.

I love poker dates.  Normally, we will play in a tournament and he will provide my buy-in.  If a multi-hour date or dinner date has taken place, we just simply play poker afterwards.  If he is out before me or vice versa, we just simply go our separate ways but in the meantime, we get to spend a little more time together as friends (off the clock).  Sometimes they want to include it in the actual date in which case, if he is out of the tourney before me, he just plays in a cash game and waits until I am through kicking butt in the tournament - lol.

There is no way I'd be able to just stand back and watch someone play in craps, bj, or poker.  I would definitely be jumping in there with or without his money.  Gambling is just tooo much fun!!!

Have a great time!

If the lady isn't familiar with the game and you are a serious player and you want her involved, tell her you're going to start with X amount and if you win you split the winnings with her when your session is done.  If you lose, that's why they call it gambling. Now if she's like Kaseygfe that might not work.  But for non gambling women it works pretty well.

I have been taught craps and it was initially my money, but I never do as well when I gamble alone so since I'll be there a few weeks after AVNs I would love to just gamble with someone who wanted a gorgeous mature gal standing by them or playing with them!!  Hope to meet you all! Kalina

I love blackjack, penny machines, slots and roulette, I think it's fun to spend quality time with someone but in the casino atmosphere.

We can play all the games, and have me as a dessert!

Can't wait to gamble this weekend!

If you are playing craps... give them a little bankroll to share in the fun and lighten up the table. More then likely, they don't know how to play so they'll just do what you tell them. Not that hard to just say do what I do on craps. (Don't bother Teaching the intricacies of craps.) Besides... if you are in a decent joint, the dealers always seem to be more then appreciative helping out hotties on the Craps table. If you win... there's nothing like getting the adrenaline flowing if you know what I mean.. Just sitting there watching you is a little boring for them and besides.... who does not like a hottie rolling the dice at the table?

Blackjack -- a little different since it can matter if they don't know how to play so I would not hit the BJ table seriously. Even when you hit the low end tables, there's always a nimrod that thinks they know everything because they read some book on how not to lose as much.

Poker -- Well.. there are a couple of providers out there that know how to play Texas Hold Em ... does not seem like a lot of fun though to hit the Poker tables with a provider since it's a you against the other players game so I've never taken a provider to the poker room.

Roulette --- Simple and can be a lot of fun. Put some money on a number.. jump and down when you win. Can't get any simpler then that.

Just go with it and if you are with the right provider... you should have a lot of fun. The biggest rule in my book is not to even think about getting any of the bankroll back.

Oh yeah... and If the provider is pocketing chips while playing... well... don't give them any more.

Personality of the provider is probably the most important thing when it comes to all of the above... choose the right one and you should have a lot of fun.
