Some properties look nice on the internet and completely different in person. The Siena Suites are one of them while it is not bad but not so good area in the evening.Since, they moved to the opposite side of the street from where they used to be located it does seem to be upgraded on the outside. That place is kind of confusing it resembles a big apartment complex which different building#.It is not too far at all from the strip but it is located right behind Venetian and Harrah's.If you do not care about staying at a hotel that does not have casino attached or being right on the strip then Siena Suites would be okay.I would recommend Venetian/Palazzo,Bally's.or even the Westin is all in the general area as well.Or you could check out some of the HOT hotels such as Cosmopolitan or Aria. You have plenty of time to plan and get a fabulous deal.
Good luck to you!

I am planning to come out to Vegas in Sept for the U of Minn - UNLV football game. The Siena Suites Hotel looks nice on the internet. Is it close enough to the main part of town where some of you ladies could join me for some entertainment? Would somewhere else be better? The football game is an excuse to come, but mostly interested in a little hobbying action.

The Siena Suites is an "extended stay" type of place, sort of a cross between a hotel and an apartment.  It's intended for people who will be living there for 2 weeks to 5-6 months, the benefit being you don't have to sign a lease.  As such, it is not the best place for a weekend fun trip to Las Vegas.

Looks to me as if the appeal to you of the Siena Suites is its close proximity to Sam Boyd Stadium, where the game will be played.  If that is what you are looking for, I would suggest the Sunset Station, Sam's Town, or the Eastside Cannery.  All are close to Sam Boyd Stadium, and all have casinos/restaurants and the type of action one would expect from a weekend in Las Vegas.  None are 5 star resorts, but all are well kept up, and rates are generally reasonable even on football game weekends.  I've seen girls hosting incall at both the Sunset Station and Sam's Town and in each case the rooms were nice.  (I've never been in a guest room at the Eastside Cannery, but it is the newest of these three properties.)  With proper references, I can't imagine one of our local Las Vegas ladies not wanting to make a trip to one of these three hotels.

Now, if location and price are no object and you are looking for the ultimate Las Vegas experience, definitely take Jaydalee's advice and stay at one of the resorts on the strip.  The most important thing is to have fun no matter where you stay!

Thanks for the suggestions.. all three of them look like very nice places worth looking into.
