There really isn't to much of a line.  Myself, when I moved out here I really didn't know much about the business as for alot of females.  I started working for an agency and soon found that I was giving them most of the money, going on alot of calls that never went threw, or had absurd hours.  I was introduced to this lady who really knew what she was doing and had been doing it for sometime.  I trusted her with my life and freedom I guess you could say as did other females that worked for her.  She is older and knows more about the business being that she was a phone girl at an agency.  I always did very well with her doing things the way she told me.  But there were draw backs at the same time.  If we argued, I didn't have any calls all of a sudden for who knows how long, or I was sick and someone else would be "referred by me."  Pretty much just like and angency.  Some of us are nieve when we first come into the business.  Others stay this way and others grow and learn they can do it on their own.  However, just as you mentioned this can "expose some seedy aspects."  You get threats from this person about what they can do to your career and how you've stole these different things, or personal things that you trusted this person with.  This "secret society" turns out to be equal or worse than an agency in the end.  Like myself I'm having to try and get everything back together for myself, which I'm a bright person and very capable so it hasn't been hard, then I have to explain myself to my trusted clients about why I've lied to them, and will now always probably have my independence questioned.

Not shocked that you're not all knowning. That is left for "Carnac the Magnificent".

What is shocking is why all the concern. Way too much about nothing here. With all due repsect Chilson I did not figure you to be so complicated.

The words here Agency and Independent (or indie if you wish) are all there is. A lady is one or the other and not both or some other made up definition.

I meant to post this under the lead post and not under this reply but messed up.

A significant number of so called "independents" have pimps so while they don't belong to an agency they are not truly independent either.  I'm not saying a majority of independents but a number of them do have pimps.  And when I say pimp, I mean pimp just as you would imagine.  Remember, this is about the $$ and don't forget it.  If you think you really know the people involved in this business then you're living in a dream world.

There really isn't a difference between an agency or dependent provider.  You still are paying someone else to work for them and end up losing more than you make.  Some females, as myself, come into the business and are nieve to how it works so they look for experienced helped.  It can and alot of times go bad.  You end up getting threats or dealing with slander or having to explain to people you've seen for years why you lied about being independent.  So really it all boils down to the same thing.  It does end up being a "kind of independents agency."

Those are your 3 choices when filling out a review. I have to smile when a provider gets a call at some point and says "that was my driver". WTF, I saw you arrive and you were driving.

As for me, I'll settle for Court Jester and the occasional gig as Nikki Avalon's cabana boy...though I hear the application and interview process for the latter is QUITE rigorous, what with all the applicants for the position.

I too had been in the same predicament as Tasha.  I don't believe in Pimps, or people taking my earned money, but I was looking for someone with a little more experience.  What better then an ex phone lady for Fantacy Girls.  She has an amazing voice a can portray about 6 girls at one given time.  Over time she gained my trust and I was looking at her like an older sister, however I was living in a fantacy land.  This women just as mentioned in previous comment, had the ability to limit appointments.  She wants all her girls to essentially Wipe her Ass, and if you can't do it then you are subject to money loss.  When I believed I was ready for a change, this woman went nearly baserk.  Well she had already lost her Top blonde, and she was about to loose her only other decent looking blonde, she freaked; wanted to try an trick me back to working with her because all my regulars were coming into town. Now, even though I felt unlike an agency and more like an dependant, I wanted to be Independent, and she wouldn't have it.  I have been slandered, like non other.  I makes me sick, how I could actually trust a lying, decitful, con-artist like Ria (chloe)
