Shot in the dark....
Other than Lees Liquor Store (which I love) Does anyone know of a store that has a very diverse/rare scotch supply? Im owing someone a case when I arrive in town. Concierge at the hotel is worthless and credit card concierge is miserable. So I am asking the drunks....er...er..social drinkers of the Las Vegas TER Board.

To alchol the cause of and solution to all of mans problems.

Thx

I only buy booze on the strip and I usually go to an ABC store.  But Lee's has a better selection.

I couldnt agree more. Yet I lost a bet and have to pay up. I would rather just give him cash but I am sure he is  now laughing knowing the trouble it causing me......

Good grief, there are so many varieties and cost levels associated with Scotch!  I'm certainly not a Scotch aficionado!  But one of my best friends is and ...well, I'm sure you know how much variety there is with this liquid encouragement!  If you have a car and a Sam's Club membership, you might be able to save some bucks by going there!  There's one on E. Tropicana just past Eastern.  I know this from recent activity! LOL BTW, you'll likely be asked to sign a form that certifies you are not retailing the purchase.  It's a state reg for purchase of large quantities of booze!

Tequila is generally my medicine of choice...and that too has multiple levels of quality.

Cheers!

I recently went on a hunt for a hard to find beverage and ended up at the company's website.  Sure enough, a few clicks later, I was at Lee's Liquor.  They didn't have it in spite of the info to the contrary, but they did a week later.  If Lee's doesn't carry it and can't get it, it's not worth drinking anyway.  At least that's my drinking theory of the day.  :)

Thanks for insight. I had concierge google with their magic box and pony express me the papers. I prefer local advice to find cool local stores that may get buried by google on search page 3000. Its ok I understand you had that joke on a post-it taped to your monitor just waiting to bust it out. Google can give the big picture...locals give the real one.

and then there was something called Yelp, right below that.  A bunch of reviews on how fab the place is, all written by  fuckin' LOCALS. And also an interesting tidbit on Mr. Lee, the proprietor.  What's  post it tape, never of it?

You know how a French woman holds her liquor?          By the ears.

I know its old, but so am I.

definitely try Total -- how rare are we talking about here?

Consider instead taking your friend to an evening at RiRa at Mandalay Place.

RiRa is an authentic Irish Pub wth a Scotch Whisky menu listing over 100 different names from all over the world.

That's kind of like an authentic Kansas City BBQ joint specializing in Carolina BBQ.

Or an authentic Irish pub that's primarily decorated in orange. (Well, you might see one of THOSE in Belfast.)
