Hobbyists haggling

Are you guys serious?! Is there something wrong with negotiating a price for service in an unregulated, free market economy? Is there something wrong with looking for a better deal in this economy? All she has to do is say, "no."

Its no worse than providers filling a "discussion" board with ads and required donations and the white knights and ass kissers refereenced in previous posts filling the board with their drivel.

It's a two way street here and everyone should get their say no matter how much you or I do not like it.

That I know there will always be someone to pack my groceries, detail my car and be behind the local convient store cash register at 3am when I am jonesing for a slurrpy. Because hagglers do not understand a "free unregulated market."

Its called supply and demand

If a provider is supplying something that there is a high demand for, than she can raise or keep her rates. If a provider is supplying something and there is little demand than she would be forced to reduce her rates to make a living.

Here is an example for u dumbass hagglers that will be simple to understand. A Ford Mustang starts around 23k and there is lots of them everywhere. A Ford Mustang gt500 starts around 50K and they are not so common. Some even have a premium and are even higher priced. No salesman is going to listen to a haggler on the gt500. They will say go to hell, if you want to haggle pick a different model that I have 60 of sitting on the lot.

The point of my story is that if you cannot afford the gt500 provider than stay the hell away shut your mouth and keep looking at it through the window. Go back down stairs sit at the casino bar and haggle with all the other mustangs that will approach you.

Here's The Problem With Haggling on THIS Board

I don't do the let's make a deal shit..........

In my experiences the men who haggle publicly and the ones who do the INCESSANT ISO posts.....are complete time wasters.


Prime example true story:


Someone posted they were looking for a provider whose physical description was me almost from head to toe. My rates are listed on my site in plain view....and are on my TER profile.

Sooooooooooo he fills out my form, and started with the endless emailing....the hey can I have your phone number.....OMG you are so pretty......can I see you tomorrow from 4pm-10pm......ohhh I need in-call and wear red....did you screen me yet?.....and my only response to him was "have you read my site?" (I sent him the link to my rates page)........I know this person is legit....he seems to forget he and I have been through this same song and dance in 2009..(he attempted to haggle me too death and ended up backing out of a session then due to my rates, so what has changed? I can answer that: MY RATES HAVE GONE UP)......6 hours.....we are talking almost 2K and I want to be UNMISTAKABLY clear about what I expect in my envelope......bc if I walk in the bathroom and don't see a fat ass envelope we are going to have a serious VERY UNPLEASANT situation......

Sooooooo I get emails from him all day long which are doing everything except yes I have read your site and profile. Finally on the day of what was supposed to be our session.....he starts with the: oh wow Allure` I didn't notice your rates, geez can you see me for 45 minutes at $300.00?

I don't have a 45 minute rate, I don't have an hour rate, I don't do anything for $300.00....nor do I knock anyone who does.....however a lady sees fit to run her business is HER business......but Allure` @ $300.00 because a client is haggling......does not compute. I never had him in my books or calendar bc I knew this was a WASTE OF BANDWIDTH.

My issue is........when I lower my rates, or work up special deal with guests it is MY decision to do it, and these are ALWAYS guests I have seen SEVERAL times....not some man who is carelessly posting ISO on a public board, with no hobby history, and cannot afford to play with me.

It's not a personal slam against anyone, but it is annoying to have someone wasting my time with this: Let's Make a Deal" mindset......I can PROMISE yall............guys who haggle are not going to suddenly turn into clients who pay what we ask and play nicely.....they ALWAYS turn out to be major pains in our asses and not in a good way. They haggle then turn out to be the pickiest clients on the planet.....how weird is that? You don't want to pay the full fee, then you want the sun, the rain, the moon, the stars, and the mountains to move?????...but I have loyal regulars who are paying me, tipping me (sometimes 20%) and gifting me...showing up on time and clean....who are fun to play with.....and of course I love playing with them....I will and have continuously slashed my rates to play with my great clients.....

I don't understand how a haggler thinks I am supposed to be in the same mind set with someone who has haggled me?.......been there done that and I cannot bring my "A" game to the table.

The capitalist system works for a reason. If somebody can come on here and "market" the pitch and get a discount, good for them. They get a deal and the privider gets a customer.

It isn't likely to happen until the economy collapses even further, which it probably will, but it don't hurt to try.

No harm, no foul. The bidder will have to up his offer if he doesn't get a nibble.
