Provider ads are not allowed that use a Craig's List as their web site. You must include a link to a TER review or have a real web page with he TER badge on it.

Sorry about that.

WTF , many new ladies don't have a web page and CL is a way to get started . Is this a ploy to make sure the older established ladies don't get new comptation ?????????????

Actually it would be really helpful if When you don't post a message add you sent an e-mail explaining why.....I put a post up for this weekend because I had lots of free time and was hoping to meet some people that was last Tue I was wondering why no one had called and I come here and my post is not even here not sure what I did wrong but can't avoid mistake if I am not sure what the problem is Thank you very much

What I normally do is allow a provider a first posting that is an ad, even if it violates TER policies. then I reply telling them so.

The next time they post without following polciy I just don't let it get approved.

I try and post the rules once a week.

First of all I have heard from several guys that Craig's list has many scams.

OK, like it is that hard to put togther a web site (or page) nowdays.  I must get several pieces of spam a week for web design.  Or if she wants somebody known and trusted, most of us link to our web designers on our links pages.  I know Outback is dirt cheap and very reliable, IMHO.   If she is really broke and desperate, some places have free space where she could put up her own page.  Hell, my friend's teenaged daughter and her friends all have personal web pages.

If she needs photos, digital cameras are about a dime a dozen now.  Plus there are a bunch of photographers here in town begging for work.

Or she has the option of finding just ONE person to write a review of her so that she can get her TER profile going and link to that.

It all sounds pretty easy to me.  Most decent paying jobs require at least 4 years of college to start.

I have a question! I have a site in progress(and am very thankful that my review was posted just before this was announced*L*)
How do I get the TER badge to appear on My site?kisses* thank You for any information You can provide!

CarrieAnne...it's very simple and the directions are provided by TER on site here.  Just go to the home page.

All she has to do is make a little page, add a little TER symbol, voila, 100% free, just like CL.  There are many reasons that CL list wouldnt work, A: After a while the ad expires and the page is no longer available

B: The lady must include the TER symbol, that is crucial no matter where your website is, the only time it is not necessary is if you are linking back to your own reviews on TER.

...have bandwidth limits that will get swamped very easily when publishing links to them on TER or other review boards.

Then potential customers get the "bandwidth exceeded" message for about an hour. Which is pretty useless, much like a CL ad after it expires.

Bottom line: free sites are generally worth what you pay for them. If you are serious about this as a profession as opposed to being a weekend warrior, invest in a website. If you are REALLY serious, invest in professional work (or if you're awesome like at least one of the local Vegas ladies I know, do a seemingly professionally designed site yourself, but get a good photographer).

(Note the "you" is generic, not directed at the post I'm replying to.)

Hi Anik

Geocites is a decent alternative to CL, no website and such. But as someone pointed out the free Geocites websites have bandwidth limitations. But they can work for low volume ladies  :)

But I would like to recommedn to ladies Full Moon Promotions.

They will not only design your website but host it as well. The specialize in this industry.
