What excuses do you guys use when telling your wives or SO or in my case parents that your going to Vegas? "Im young" im running out of thoughts.

Bright lites, Casino shows, Gambling, Just want to get away for a few days why not go to Vegas..

I'm old. My mother is in her 80's. I tell her I need to make some money. That's not really an excuse; I do make money consistently at the tables.

I always stick with the truth on that one.  Booze, Gambling, and Blowing off steam.  I may just leave out the particulars on the blowing off steam part

If you have a hobby that she's not interested in, pretend that you are going to a convention.

I always make up a music or computer convention.

That's provided that they don't try to investigate the "convention".

I tell family, friends, and coworkers I play in poker tournaments. I haven't won any money in 3 years, but I'm sticking to it...and partying with Tawny Brie, the only sure thing in Vegas.

Golf, my host (casino) made me an offer I couldn't refuse. (I love to golf in the hot weather) usually 6 or 7 days of swinging my club around (with her)lol.

you met some new friends from out of town, and say one of them is a girl that you "got along" with. Tell them they are all going to Vegas for some fun, and you really want to go to see if this girl really likes you. At your age, parents want you to get a GF and get married, so this may seem normal to them.

and get some much needed R&R.  Lay by the pool, got a great hotel rate, see some shows, gamble a bit, and just get away from reality for a while.
Only chance to do some sports betting.  Any combination or all of these seem to work for me.

Yes, then have some of the fine ladies of Vegas tutor me and give me some private lessons!

My current favorite lives in Vegas so I just say "Coming to see you!!!"

But I also have other business in Vegas, so that works.

Finally, Fights (Boxing, MMA) and comedy shows (Seinfeld at Caesars) are good excuses as well.

Mon, I know I promised I would die a virgin if I never got married, However I don't think I can deliver on that one. I gota go to Vegas and see if getting a perminate SO is really worth it. Anything I should know before I go.

Mom's are a hellva lot smarter than you or I give them credit for. Unless your adopted she knows what makes a man tick.
