I really enjoy the Embassy Suites, though I've never stayed in the one in Vegas. Trouble is, I can sty in that or a Marriot in any city. When I go to Vegas, I like to stay in the Strip hotels because, well, that's part of the "Vegas experience."

Im curious to hear wath guys/girls think. Guys seem to want to impress the gilrs buy staying at Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, any of those big money hotels. But, whats wrong with the little nicer quaint hotels like Marriot Quartyard, or The Embassy Suites. They're every bit as nice, and sometimes even offer more for less of what your paying for at the big hotels. I understand people like to gamble, but, gambling is not everything either. I'll be staying at Embassy Suites paradise BLVD in September for a nice change without all the raucuss going on, what does everyone think of these hotels.

Ive gad my fair share of vegas experiences, which is why I chose Embassy Suites. I want NOTHING to do with casinos at all this time around, Im tired of losing my money so fast, all I want to do is kick back and relax on my private balcony for four days.

... it's Marriott's high-end property, but often it has really good rates (I've gotten it for $99 on Priceline- you want to bid for a 4 star hotel near the Convention Center. You can also get it cheap sometimes through Marriott).

Non-gaming, non-smoking, free internet, nice rooms, nice steakhouse on site (Envy).

Depends on whether you want to stay at a 2 star property or a higher starred one.  The nice thing about the better hotel/casino is the ammenities on property (restaurants, spa, pool, shows, bars, nightclubs, gaming, etc), which gives it a higher star rating.

One place I've recently read about that offers a nice quiet touch is the Signature at MGM, which might be less busy like an Embassy Suites but definately has a classier feel to it.

Nothing wrong at staying at a place that just offers a place to sleep and maybe a restaurant or free breakfast.  I'm sure providers will hit the Motel 6 if that's where you're staying (as long as the room is clean).  Then again, you have some 4 year old chewing on a used condom in a room at Caesars Palace (supposedly; lawsuit filed).

And they are provider friendly to say the least.

Not only that, they leave the light on for you.

At Motel 6 you won't have to go far for company . Hell , you may well trip over one as you leave your room

I guess I made my point, no one cares about anything here at all except for money. If the client has the money to pay why should you care where you stay? Who said anything about Motel 6? I'd never see anyone at a shithole like that. That's like Westward Ho when it was there. I was asking about Embassy Suites and Courtyard Marriot, things like that.

QUEENSRYCHE.

Pretty much any of their properties now are no smoking so for those that do smoke, stay away :-)

Something to keep in mind if you book more than an hour or two.
