I've never had a problem with a provider at the hotel.  I've gone down to pick her up and she actually could have gotten up on her own.
But as another poster said, the place sucks.  Small casino and the customer service is  awful from hotel management.
I will say, it's nice having the monorail right there.  At the MGM you have to walk thru the casino and mall to get to the station.  At the Sahara, it's not a bad walk.
As far as cabs, have never had a problem getting one there.

Will be staying at the Sahara March 25 to April 1st.  Could anyone tell me what security is like there re having providers visit?  I have done my research andhave some ideas, but would appreciate any additional reccommendations re good local indies that are fun and reliable, Asian experiences and squirters a plus.  Thanks in advance for your input.

the Sahara will be so delighted that you're staying 7 days , they'd let you bring a water buffalo up to your room...  you won't have any problems.. pm me for my recommendations for asian providers.. i'm really into asians...

That place is a fucking dump. Even Circus Circus laughs at the Sahara. I had to stay there a few years ago due to a lack of planning and no available alternatives and wow, did it suck. No cabs either, because no one voluntarily goes there in a cab. Good luck and try to switch hotels because you'll have to do some selling to get any good tail to come over there.

Should be interesting changeover when it happens and new work starts there.

I actually saw that about a week or so before I left.  My boycott worked! LOL
I'm surprised the parcel across the street, on LV Blvd. has not been developed.  On the east side, I thought that had been included in the deal but I see from the article it wasn't.
It will be interesting to see what changes come.  I can't imagine them not renovating/imploding the hotel/casino.

With the condos coming in on the North Strip and Echelon Place replacing Stardust, my guess is the low roller joints are going to be replaced over the next 5-10 years. Sahara looks like it's in line to be next.

i've been at the sahara twice in thre past 10 days.  although the hotel is older, it's clean, nice and no problem visiting...
