I thought I saw something a few months back where the Vegas city council had passed one of those absurd six foot rules for dancers at strip clubs. Or was it Clark County, outside the Vegas city limits? MfSD.

You are right it was the city of Las Vegas. If I remember right their are actually only 6 clubs that are within the city limits and effected by this law. It also seems that enforcement is not really happening.

It's the other way around. It was passed in Clark County. However, clubs located inside the Las Vegas city limits are not affected.

The ordinance was passed last September but has yet to be enforced.

Latest rumor has it that they will start enforcing it this summer. What parts and what was inside the ordinance, I can't remember. It doesn't concern me - I'm not a dancer :-)...

is OG, Crazy Horse 2, and any other notables I should consider, inside the city limits? Marco.

Yes, both OG and CH2 are in the city and the other notable one in the city (and the best, IMO) is Cheetahs.

OG, Crazy Horse II and Cheetahs are all in the city limits.

I heard a few months ago, however, that there was some of these new  regulations would be enforced in the city starting some time this summer.  Whether this will actually take place is anyone's guess.  There is a lot of lobbying going on, I am sure.  It is all ridiculous, in my opinion.  Las Vegas without lap dances??

Don't know about a six foot rule.

Here's a link to the actual Clark County Ordinance that talks about what's legal: http://municipalcodes.lexisnexis.com/codes/clarknv/_DATA/TITLE06/Chapter_6_160_EROTIC_DANCE_ESTABLI/6_160_110___Erotic_dance_estab.html

They might have stricken the part about tipping dancers.

It only affects clubs that are not within the city limits of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City.  The county commision though that the city of Las Vegas would follow suit when their ordinance was passed.  Of course, the city didn't follow so it put some clubs at a slight disadvantage.

Have fun,
 Bob

Vice has been terrorizing the poor dancers at all the clubs. They had a hard-on for OGs, and were busting girls left and right. Also heard about a few busts at Jaguars and Sapphire.  Those strippers sure are dangerous- I guess more dangerous than murderers, etc...
