I would like to pose this question...recently I recieved alot of inquiries about me and the clients had said in their inquiry's that they saw my ad on "cityview"...so having never heard of it..I went to the site  and looked for my name...I did not see it...upon looking further I saw the name Megan spelled  differently than I spell it...I opened the ad thinking nothing and was shocked too see my pictures from my site with my TER reviews and a cheesy ad line  saying I was here for  a short time... I could not believe it...so I called the company and they  blew me off saying" I would have to call back and speak to a sales rep" she could not help me..... except for the fact they misspelled my name  all the info was mine...I never placed an add there... should I just shut up and think of it as free advetising...or should I insist they take it off...they probably wont... but should i be leary of a scam...has any other provider  dealt with them....or had this issue..I'd be interested to know how they handled it...thanks in advance for  your answers

It seems to me that
A) if the ad did not contain false or missleading information

and/or

B) did not cost you anything (they can't make you pay for an ad you did not place)

then chaulk it up to free advertising.

Well Meg you have the most incredible ass pic I have ever seen, so I can see more than one person wanting to steal it ... but the confusion some may end up having could hurt your business if they review this "other" meg poorly with you ... hobbies may not catch the name mispelling.... good luck .....

Publicity is a two-way street.  If this provider is willing to steal your ID to further her business you have to wonder what kinds of corners she'll cut with providers.  I'd be doing what I could to protect my terrific rep if I were you.

I know that the same thing happened to a few girls in the Boston area and, talking to some of the other TER mods, in other regions as well. Cityvibe has a reciprocal link agreement with TER. Could Cityvibe be creating unauthorized pages for ladies just so Cityvibe can increase its exposure via TER?

I once was cruising sites for services in Montreal and found a new agency with a number of pics of girls that I knew worked for an agency in Vicotria, B.C. As I had done some very pleasant business with the B.C. agency, I emailed a "heads up" to the owner. She contacted the other agency and they immediately pulled the ripped-off photos. I would think that if you get connected with the right person, they would pull the ad. It would be in your interest to do so as your reputation might otherwise be at stake. Good luck!

I have had this happen as well. I have found my info on websites I have never given permission to do so. Generally, websites that do not ask you for permission are probably doing things you don't want to have your name and rep attached to.

It is a VERY simple thing to call or email you go get your permission.  You also may not like the "free publicity" attached to thier site as you don't know what thier target market is.

There are a million reasons as to why you want to protect yourself out there.

I would think you would want stop any false advertising. Be relentless with you calls to have it removed. By the way, I have e-mailed you a couple of times but have had no response. Is there a secret I need to know about to contact you.

I found out why it is too their best interest to have my ad on their site without my premission..its becuse  TER has a deal with them that every ad they get from someone listed on TER  they change the link on the girls name so instead of going to their site it goes to cityvibe...not cool at all..now I have to figure out how to get TER to switch it back....
